As various lawmakers push to repeal cuts to military pensions, Representative Paul Ryan (D-WI) continues to defend. the cuts. House leadership indicates no plans to take up any repeal. On December 27, Breitbart News reported that lawmakers from both parties had introduced legislation repealing Ryan's military pension cuts in part or in whole. But according to The Hill, there has been little progress toward reversing the cuts once Congress reconvenes in January.
If the majority of leadership shares Ryan's position, the push to reverse is moot because Ryan has made clear he sees "no choice between responsible reforms of military compensation" versus other reductions military leadership describes as "disproportionate cuts to military readiness and modernization."
Ryan has signaled a willingness to "reverse pension cuts for former service members retired for medical reasons." Beyond that, he is standing his ground.
If the House stands with him, the battle over military cuts will ultimately play out in November congressional elections, where those who supported the cuts will face challenges from candidates who oppose them.

Of course they did. In my last exchange with an ardent Perry supporter I was told Perry had no choice but to go along on the Ghardasil issue even though he made it law through executive order. One said he had “great hair”. Another said he was “really good looking”. We’re talking some of the shallowest people on the planet. And that explains why they would support a pro-ILLEGAL alien, liberal Republican.
Just another example of why EVERYONE should be required to serve in the Military for 2 years when 18 or so.
If you are ‘afraid’ of guns, serve your 2 years cleaning heads or assisting in homeless or other shelters - not just for a serve turkey at thanksgiving, but ‘living’ with them for a couple of years.
If you find out what ‘real life’ is about early, you may spend your later years trying to remedy the causes that ‘disgusted’ you so much.

I hear he is considering a run in 2016 hoping, apparently, that the nation's conservatives have forgotten that he told us we were heartless for not supporting his pro-ILLEGAL positions. Given that his primary opponents will likely be the likes of Christie it will once again be a choice between the turd or the stench surrounding it. Neither do I find appealing.
Actually the ethical flexability I was talking about wasnt directed at Goodhair. Ir was directed at ‘conservatives’ who vote liberal everytime the GOP runs one, makes excuses until the cows come home and still demand to sit at the conservative table and enjoy the benefits of defending actual principles.
Perry and his fellows are nothing but libs that not quite finished with the kool aid. He pretty much sucks everywhere but has a couple good qualities (guns/energy). For the most part, sound and fury signifying a more perfect GOPe.

Perry's pro-ILLEGAL alien tuition policy (the same one for which he labeled us "heartless" because we did not agree) has now been adopted by Kalifornia and other liberal states. So American taxpayer dollars are being spent educating ILLEGAL invaders and these Perry "conservatives" defend it to this day.
I'm not always right, and I readily acknowledge that. But I know I am right when I say anyone who supports such flawed liberal logic is far from being a conservative. Rick Perry is no conservative.

We all make mistakes. No one likes admitting them. The problem is with idiots determined to keep promoting the Perrys, the Ryans, the Pauls and yes, the Romneys as some kind of answer when history, RECENT history, shows what happens when the liberal wing of the GOP (most of it these days) gets the positive reinforcement of lesser evil voting.
End result: we move leftward. EVERY time. People that help that are liberals. Period. Not an Obama period, a real one.
