Communist-sympathizing radical Bill de Blasio has laid out an ambitious, far-left agenda as he begins what is destined to be a disastrous reign as New York’s 109th mayor.
Leveling left-wingers, with their perverse obsession with income equality, are looking eagerly to the city in the hope that the new mayor will “morph New York City’s municipal machinery into a closely watched laboratory for populist theories of government that have never before been enacted on such a large scale,” according to a fawning New York Times profile.

Based on the New Yorkers who come to Arizona, I’d have to go with “stupid”. The ones living near me all want to turn Arizona into New York. I’ve even heard some complain about Arizona winters (”not enough snow” - yeah, we’re in southern Arizona, what did you expect?). NYers are liberals, and liberals are like locusts. They need to be destroyed, not spread around...

My point was that the aesthetics of liberalism are changing in drastic ways. Go to a party among wealthy liberals (and I still get invited!) and you will see their children - all gender-bending, out-of-the-closet gays and lesbians at thirteen years of age. Young teenage girls wearing tuxedos with shorn hair, boys that make Matthew Shepherd looks like John Wayne. My example was the strange looks of DeBlasio’s children. His daughter seemed to be wearing a witch’s cap to his inauguration. Liberals give permission to their own children to behave in ways that are not only anti-social but may very well affect their future.
These children make me very uneasy.
I will also not turn around and look back.
What made you think I was saying that New Yorkers were smarter than people in other parts of the country? My points was that you seem to think you know NYC better than I do, although you live far away and I’m right in the middle of it. In no way did I imply or suggest that people outside of NY are less intelligent. That’s ridiculous.

If you like your geographical location, you can KEEP your geographical location just stay there and keep your political proclivities with you.
That’s the big problem with those who eventually decide to move from their high-taxing, leftist paradises into a more Conservative one. They take their inbred politics with them. Texans are going to find that out with the influx of Californicators.
Your last sentence might be considered by some to be gratuitous while I understand the intent by which you typed it. I must state, however, that I do believe I am somewhat more intelligent than those living around the Rotting Apple in that I have absolutely NO intention of EVER moving or even visiting there since I am not allowed to transport my firearm on my plane. My Rhode Island sister-in-law used to say that the Best Thing about NYC was the Tappan Zee Bridge....by-pass the whole city going to & from New England!
New York has “city taxes”.
I think the best thing the new mayor can do is to DOUBLE CITY TAXES. This will help him pay for his marxist programs and will punish those who want to live there and support socialism, big governement, and giveaways.

I hate to dredge all that up again, BUT - after you saw his convention speech in 2008 (coining the "Zero" name), wouldn't you rather have seen him on the news every night instead of McCain?
