The first same-sex wedding in the history of the Tournament of Roses Parade went off without a hitch -- except for the planned one -- despite threats of protests and days of opposition on social media.
"Congratulations and our best wishes to Aubrey and Danny on their wedding day!" said KTLA-TV Channel 5 broadcaster Bob Eubanks, one of the live telecast show's hosts, as the wedding-cake-shaped float passed by the viewing stands.
The vows took place near the end of the two-hour telecast of the 125th annual Rose Parade. There were no major incidents reported.

The real incident will be in 3-4 months when they get divorced.
Conservatives refuse to work together while the liberals work as a team for any perversion.
This is a continuing trend in today’s society.
We didn’t watch the parade. First time ever, I think. Maybe next year. I’d be interested to see if this year’s ratings went down.
Three non-viewers here.
did they consummate on the float too?
Didn’t watch it anyway, and won’t watch the Rose Bowl. Fack the Fogs!
B-A-R-F !!
Without incident! Two men in a full blown marriage, so to speak, and that does not quality as an incident? Beam me up Scotty, there’s no intelligent life on this planet.
I didn’t watch. Was it consummated?
No "major" incidents. Hmmm....
So what incidents WERE reported? And why aren't they described in this article?
Now it’s just another gay pride parade. No thanks.
It does sound as if they were concerned that there would be incidents or protests.
And it sounds as if they were disappointed that nothing happened.
What the heck?? Why do these people, and liberals in general, want to push this narrative that conservatives are hateful, violent against them, etc??? They push this meme, and while it’s true that conservatives oppose them, conservatives are not staging hate crimes or staging violence against them.
Great tagline. Needs to be forwarded to Rove, Boehner and Priebus.
But just think of the stories they can tell their children and grandchildren.
We watch KTLA Channel 5’s coverage in Los Angeles. We look forward to seeing and hearing the comeback kid, Stephanie Edwards http://www.ocregister.com/news/edwards-193013-eubanks-parade.html
KTLA had the decency to pull the camera shot way back when the purported nuptials swapped spit in front of the grandstand. It seemed like a non-event to this viewer.
Gag me, what did they expect to happen?
ugh!
I feel bad for the guys cleaning up the barf along the way.
They didn’t hear the nation wide “CLICK!” when we all turned our TV’s off??
Don’t worry. that’ll likely show up in the ratings.
+1
