I believe AZ is the same for open carry.

I didn’t realize that Texas allowed people to drive without a drivers license ... :-) ...

I drive as little as possible. Unless I'm actively driving, I don't carry ID. And if I am driving, the ID gets left with the vehicle.

I am a free man. I don't have to have an ID to walk around or exist.

and I repeat — they did this deliberately to cause a scene.

If you are going to put on a performance then you should be carrying — your SAG cards.

I wish he had hauled them all in for their poor performances.

With enough support from police-staters like you, a good many of the rest us may soon face such a fate.

I believe they were from Oklahoma, and in order to legally “open carry” in Oklahoma, you must have a “concealed carry” permit. Thus, you must have that and you will be ID-ed.

If you “open carry” in another state under laws that allow you to do it from another state (like Oklahoma) you better have that permit, or else you’re breaking the law!!

A lot of people from New York don't have driver's licenses. You don't need one. A passport is valid. Mr. Officer boy just needs to deal with it.

I missed something. Who are they?

Yea, you did....Who are they? Just a couple of kids who have no business being hounded by the cops..........

And just who are the cops anyway who are on alert when someone happens to call in a report of some kids carrying sidearms?

Just a couple of harmless teenagers

It's acceptable, but not the preferred form for ID. A drivers license or state ID is preferable for police.

Police don't just want your name. They want an ID which provides a way to look you up in their database.

Exersizing constitutional rights in a lawful manner isn't causing a scene.

Even if you don't like they way they do it.

” For what purpose I don’t know but what I do know is that I have googled my license plate # and have discovered several conversations about it, my car and myself from individuals in my location. That’s a little disturbing....”

Being one of the guys that’s taken down plate info on investigations its probably just information they grabbed at the scene to run later if they need to contact witnesses or to see if you have an NCIC record to followup on if needed later. If you weren’t charged with a crime and convicted of anything I’d contact the website administrator and tell them to pull the pics for fear of retaliation from activist groups that oppose your views. I’d get it off the Internet pronto...

Some states don't require a permit at all for open carry, or concealed carry.

They are called 'Constitutional Carry' states.

You're talking out of your arse, city boy.

Either that or you are deliberately playing the troll.
