In Texas you are required to carry id if you are carrying your weapon!!
Only if your concealed carrying a pistol off of your property. Open carry on your property and open carry of anywhere long guns are a right. No I.D. required. used to be you could conceal carry without a permit if you were on a trip that passed 2 count lines. But that got changed when a drunken female RAT was in charge,
