Every New Years Eve, I listen to the their 1999 disk, “Strange Times”. It was their last disk before Ray Thomas left the group in 2002. Since then, they’ve been playing Indian casinos, not the big venues like they used to. This was their swan song, and I’m featuring it tonight before I go and pop the cork. There s some great material on that disk.
