The convoy of cars bearing the black al-Qaida flag came at high speed, and the manager of the modest grocery store thought he was about to get robbed.
Mohamed Djitteye rushed to lock his till and cowered behind the counter. He was dumbfounded when instead, the al-Qaida commander gently opened the grocery's glass door and asked for a pot of mustard. Then he asked for a receipt.
Confused and scared, Djitteye didn't understand. So the jihadist repeated his request. Could he please have a receipt for the $1.60 purchase?

It’s probably something that originated from Osama bin Ladin and the fact that he ran some family businesses, and his own. It probably reflects that they are very concerned about the money being used very specifically on the plans that they have. And it also reflects their acknowledgement that that have a limited amount of money and want to “get the most bang for their buck?” ... :-) ...

Al Qaeda needs accurate accounting so it knows how much funding they need from the US taxpayer.
Wouldn’t it be something if it turns out al-Qaida has a Jewish accountant?

Because I spend most of my early adulthood bearing “self-employed” status I have always itemized and kept receipts. I hate it. I am about to just stop paying income tax. I wish more people felt the same... I need company in jail.
