Every Republican should fashion their platform, their speeches and their ads from these statements.

If I was running against an established Democrat, I’d scream these statements from the tallest roofs. I would not be POLITE about it.I would not be NICE about it. I would not be SLICK about it. I would attack Obama and his works. I would attack the Democrats and their works. I would attack my opponent and their works.

And quite frankly, I would not care if I won. I would only care about telling the truth. And I would tell the voters that I did not care if I won. I would tell the voters that if they wanted NICE, if they wanted POLITE, if they wanted SLICK, they should vote for my opponent. If they wanted someone who was an implacable warrior dedicated to dismantling obamacare and the rest of the Obammunist works, they should vote for me. I would tell the voters if they LIKED the way things are going and wanted more of it they should not vote for me, but they should vote for my opponent. I say these things loudly and passionately.

I would not play the “gotcha” game with reporters. No matter how vile the attacks and questions, I would stick with the sole issue of dismantling obamacare, answering any and all questions with the orginal above statements.

(Since when did the leader of the free world care so much about how people have sex, who they have it with, and what meds they use when they have it? Does he have nothing more important to concern himself with?) When you are gay and your former SOS of state and your probable professor is lesbian, how people have sex is very important to you.

The writer makes great points. But the only way America will ever show a spine is if a few people like her, some brave politicians and some talking heads who have the forum stand up and call for mass protests all over the country. And even then I’m not sure of success.

When a leftie’s granny is sent home to die they’ll suddenly believe in God and say “It must have been His will.”

What makes you think they’ll follow a bunch of new amendments and articles when they don’t follow the old amendments and articles?

This is full of good debating points. ...and with respect to our condition in the PNW, I thought of a new bumber sticker I might make up ---

There is no (R) in WASHINGTON

I attended a Catholic high school near Notre Dame. I recall that a law professor named Charles Rice sent his children to the same school and he came in once a year to give a talk. He was conservative and used the power of reason to argue the existence of God. When I went to college I realized that men like Dr. Rice were the exception not the rule on university faculties. God bless people like Laura Hollis and Charles Rice who speak the truth.

Reality is what it is. Most of the time it’s best to deal with it and live your life with your family the best you can.

I did 4 years of active duty with the US Army.

I would say that the 2014 elections will be a sign of which way the country is going.

I do not see any signs of hope for the country in those elections, but we will see.

My prediction is for a familiar scenario in the 2016 elections as well.

I certainly don’t mind being wrong, especially in this case.

But if “we” nominate Christie, well, I don’t need to explain anything to you about that, I guess...

Another sign I am looking for is the attack on Obamacare during the elections.

Whether it occurs and how it goes will be a good sign of what the future holds.

If it is successful, that will be great.

If it is non-existent, or fails, that will just bolster the current conditions and push us further along this track.

I'm talking structural amendments that cannot be ignored.

State appointed senators and 3/4 vote of states to overturn federal law, federal regulations and best of all, federal court decisions. Throw in term limits for congress and judges for good measure.

The Framers were skittish when it came to state powers within the federal government. I'm not.

Yes, I don’t know the current situation, but Notre Dame has a few really solid Catholic faculty. And too many of the other kind.

Also, I once taught there as a visiting professor in summer school, and I was very impressed by some of the students, by the Mass in the ND chapel, and by a ceremony in their Lourdes grotto.

But the Fathers at the top of the administration are the real problem, as we saw when they honored Obama with an Honorary Doctorate of Law—a guy who never wrote any legal articles and never really practiced law, apart from his baby-killing proclivities.

The article is from November so Notre Dame has had time to make her a former professor. It would be interesting to know her current status.

Pubbies are either complicit, or compromised in some way.

That's what primaries are for. Get rid of those who are complicit in the destruction of the Republic.

I don't want a Dim or a Republican partisan influencing my kids political or moral views in the least.... its their job to teach.

Everything she said will be appropriate as part of a course in recent U.S. history by the time your kids are ready for Notre Dame.

As long as Americans have their smartphones, reality shows, Facebook and entertainment they won't even notice what has happened.

It is only a small comfort to know that when they march us into the camps the surviving useful idiots will be there already.
