Jacksons group, along with LGBT group GLAAD and the National Organization for Women, urged A&E to keep Robertson on an indefinite hiatus from the show, which the network started following Robertsons comments criticizing homosexuality in an interview with GQ magazine.

Jackson Sr. and the leaders of the other groups are demanding a sit-down meeting with Cracker Barrel and A&E in the next couple of days.
It is unacceptable that a personality who has been given such a large platform would benefit from racist and anti-gay comments, the group leaders state in the release.

I see Jackson senses there's money to be made through a shakedown.
Cracker barrel should send Jesse some coupons for a discounted meal.

There is a specially hot place in the lake of fire for phony “reverends”.
Who cares what ‘The Spitter’ has to say about anything?
LOL- so the left wing media still looks to Jesse “New York City is Hymietown” Jackson for guidance on issues such as these??
Ah yes, Jesse Jackson finally weighs in, after he determined the risk level was low.
Perhaps Jesse could go to West Monroe and have a sit-down with Phil.
That would be great Pay Per View.

Jesse Jackson doesn’t use the Bible for anything but quoting it when or his family are in trouble.
The statement by the ‘group leaders’ as quoted here is the exact description which applies to Jackson, Sharpton and others.
They are decrying exactly what they have lived for years.
Amusing. The pot itself calling the kettle black....no pun intended.
No it’s just the crazies get more air time by the lazy MSM.
Remind me, what church does the Reverend Jackson pastor again?
Jackson is simply another attention whore, like Charlie Sheen, and they are getting their name out in front of this “issue” for publicity.
Being near his age, and also a redneck from the country, I agree completely with his remarks.
The difference here has nothing to do with race.
It's country versus city.
When I had farm jobs while growing up, we enjoyed hard physical work.
Throwing and stacking 70 pound hay bales high on a wagon and/or truck.
Unloading onto a conveyor and stacking them in a hot, dusty hay barn at over 120 degrees.
Shoveling and wheelbarrowing tons, yes, literally tons of cow manure daily.
Then I noticed the difference between the lazy bums from the suburbs and cities while in the USAF.
Race, ethnicity, or other background was irrelevant.
The Mexicans and blacks who grew up working on farms were no different from me.
The urban and suburban ones, black, white and Mexican were useless pains in the rear.
Some of the suburban ones were ok, and a rare few urban ones.
I'm sure Phil is right about the blacks he knew.
Those of us (them included), generally don't whine and complain.
We just roll up our sleeves, and enjoy work.
With just a slight shift in thinking, that statement fits Jackson perfectly.
Yes, big, we all know... what you are watching--
- JL “Jail” Jackson
The “reverend” Jackson has never believed in the Bible. He’s a con-man. He believes in fag “marriage” and murdering unborn children. What does the Bible say about both these sins? He is also the same “moral” man that said during the 2008 campaign that he’d like to “cut off his balls”, referring his now hero and savior Obama. Would love to see that tongue-tied moron, who should have an interpreter with him at all times, or his words on the bottom of the TV screen, dropped off in the backwoods with Phil Robertson and see which one comes out alive. What a miserable POS he continues to be. Next we get to here what the “Reverend” Al Sharpton has to say about a “nation-wide” boycott. They both make me want to puke.
