Hey, this is warm in here! LOL!!

Are you going to get snow?

It was touch and go for a while...games with the mortgage company. They weren’t sure that they wanted to finance someone who works on the slope for 2 weeks and is then home for 2. Didn’t seem to matter that his wife is there. He finally gave them an ultimatum....do it now or I’m gone. The seller was not very happy about the drama.

He is having to learn about riding mowers (he loves it) and now horses. She has had them before, he knows nothing. d:o)

No snow here, fortunately. There have been a couple of close calls but we’ve been missed each time. It’s just been colder than normal for this time of year. We’ve had a couple of warm spells, like this past Sat. when it was 70+ degrees, but it turns around and dips into the 30s again after a day or so.
We wonder if we’re going to have a long winter or if Spring is going to arive in Feb. like it did a few years ago.

You’ve had quite a bit of the white stuff up in your neck o’ the woods. It does make it a little brighter outside during the long winter nights but it must be heck to drive on all the time.

Bummer that they had so much hassle getting things settled with the mortage company but at least that’s behind them now.
Give him time. He’ll learn to dislike riding mowers before you know it. LOL! They’re nice at first because they do make the job easier but after one spends a lot of time on one, the thrill is gone! Been there, done that, have a few t-shirts.

Hossies are much more fun. They’re a bit of work to take care of but getting out for a nice trail ride every now and then is a joy. I hope they have some good countryside to ride around.
