One of the things you learn as a pilot is not to put teflon tape on the threads of an oxygen bottle since it is poisonous when you combine the two. I’m surprised non-stick pans are allowed on the market since heating Teflon up helps it to combine with oxygen and thus poison the user.
Thanks for your insight r.e. teflon. I’m getting rid of my Calphalon and my George Foreman grill and replacing them with iron and ceramic.
