Younger women inherit Grams old [iron] pans and put in the garage sale because it's too heavy. Heavy is good. Heats evenly. After I switched to non-stick pans some years ago, I got thyroid illness.

One of the things you learn as a pilot is not to put teflon tape on the threads of an oxygen bottle since it is poisonous when you combine the two. I’m surprised non-stick pans are allowed on the market since heating Teflon up helps it to combine with oxygen and thus poison the user.
