Republican lawmakers are blasting the Obama administration's decision to exempt large numbers of people from having to buy insurance under Obamacare — a last-ditch attempt to help the millions of people who received insurance cancellation notices because of the new healthcare law. ....
"We asked Secretary Sebelius point blank what would be the next holiday surprise, and she was silent. Yet, here we are with another major policy shift," said Tennessee GOP Rep. Marsha Blackburn, chairman of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, Fox reports. "The sad reality is that when the law takes effect come Jan. 1, more Americans will be without coverage under Obamacare than one year ago."
"Less than two weeks from going live, the White House seems to be in full panic mode. Rather than more White House delays, waivers, and exemptions, the administration should provide all Americans relief from its failed law," she added.
Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., called it a "slap in the face" to those already enrolled in Obamacare.
"Holding a fire sale of cheap insurance is not a responsible fix for a broken program. This is a slap in the face to the thousands of Americans who have already purchased expensive insurance through the Obamacare exchanges," he said.
The insurance industry also reacted negatively to the news, saying the decision to allow people to sign up for "catastrophic" coverage plans would cause tremendous "instability."
"This latest rule change could cause significant instability in the marketplace and lead to further confusion and disruption for consumers," Karen Ignagni, head of America's Health Insurance Plans, the industry trade group, told the Journal.

The first purpose of Obamacare was to destroy Private Medical Insurance Industry in the United States of America.
Each time that Barry S. illegally changes his instrument of destruction, (Obamacare), the expense to the Private Insurance Companies goes up.
Thus, Barry S. has a perfect ratcheting destruction mechanism to destroy the Insurance Companies, because he knows that for the next two years the RINOs, thanks to RINO Ryan, will do NOTHING to stop him.
Hence, as more and more “problems” that Reid and Pelosi have built into Obamacare continue to be “discovered” by the gullible RINOs, the better it is for Obamacre to achieve its first purpose of destruction of the private Medical Insurance Industry.

There are mandated date spans that coverage can be obtained for the next year, usually Oct-Dec. If you get sick in July and try to buy a policy to cover that illness, it will not work. Coverage cannot be backdated. Of course all we have to do is wait a week or so and I am sure the rules will change.
Of course the Regime is laying the ground work of a crisis to usher in the final push for a Single Payor National Health Plan,
Remember that a crisis gives one the opportunity to do things that they would not otherwise be able to do.
My Ladyfriend has been trying to get her application processed for the past 3 days. I don’t like to feed the beast but she needs insurance and makes abut 12,000 a year so...thought she might get some help. But, no luck....

Was a law not passed and to change that law and dates does it not have to go back through the House and Senate? Is this not impeachable not to mention the first law suit the whole obamacare thing caves in a real court of laws?

That is good, in a way, I guess. They are spending OUR money on ads (money paid to the left for ads, etc.) BUT the ads are so lame and so worthy of ridicule, that at least the money is “wasted” for their cause.
Still I have always thought government ads of any sort should NOT be funded — seat belts? etc. The government should not be allowed to use OUR money to tell US how to live. STEAMING! At the pj boy ads and etc. and etc. and not to mention hiring tens of thousands of Commrades as so-called Navigators. HEY how about a law that is easy enough to understand by the citizens so that it does not “need” Navigators or advertising. SHEESH!
