'Duck Dynasty' Star Phil Robertson Also Under Fire for African-American Statements
Yahoo News ^ | 12-19-13 | Suzy Byrne

Phil Robertson's anti-gay comments aren't the only part of his interview with GQ causing controversy.

The 67-year-old "Duck Dynasty" star was suspended by A&E Wednesday for calling homosexuality sinful — and putting gay people in same category as terrorists. While those quotes quickly went viral, it wasn't his only brow-raising statement in the interview; he also implied that African Americans were happier living under Jim Crow laws.

No matter which side of the aisle you are on politically, who cares what this guy thinks about anything?

INHO, the whole thing is being orchestrated from our Resident Evil.

These sorts of things do seem to come up when he is conspicuously absent.

Just dropped Yahoo as my search engine and replaced them w/ Bing.

This is not an over reaction, that article represents the worst sort of smear. a highly favored tactic of the dying msm.

Perhaps explore using this search engine, it does seem appropriate for the issue at hand.

Noting that the remarks "go beyond being outlandishly inaccurate and offensive" and are actually "dangerous and revisionist,

PR clearly states he is talking about what he personally saw and experienced. That by definition cannot be "revisionist". It's called a "primary source". Revisionism is what happens in universities when professors who weren't there decide the people who were are wrong.

45 There was a time when there was a higher percentage of marriages among blacks than whites. This was obviously before welfare, but I’m not sure how far back that goes.

While not exactly what you said, this is close ...

from U.S. Census

 1965 – U.S. population was 87.8% white and 10.5% black.
 1965 - 3.1% of white infants were born out of wedlock and 24% of black infants were.
 2013 – U.S. population is 63% white, 15% Hispanic, and 13% black.
 2013 – 40% of live births in the U.S. were out of wedlock. White rate = 33%, Hispanic rate = 50%, Black rate = 72%

Facts on Induced Abortion in the United States, October 2013

• More than half of pregnancies among American women are unintended, and about four in 10 of these are terminated by abortion.[1,2] Twenty-two percent of all pregnancies (excluding miscarriages) end in abortion.

• Forty-two percent of pregnancies among white women, 69% among blacks and 56% among Hispanics are unintended.

• Non-Hispanic white women account for 36% of abortions, non-Hispanic black women for 30%, Hispanic women for 25% and women of other races for 9%.

Number of abortions per 1,000 women aged 15-44, by year

I didn’t realize that Montana was a forced union State.

It's disgusting that a state where liberty is otherwise cherished allows union mobs to engage in their criminal acts. Just as appalling is Alaska, where unionism in the form of its goons holds the good people captive in its evil vices. Had Governor Palin not been hounded out of office by the time-wasting and costly frivolous lawsuits, I have no doubts that Alaska would now be free like the South and throw off union coercion.

Unionism == slavery

Revisionist history is being written. But not by Phil Robertson. Phil was telling the true history.

I worked with a CA public employee union for years (I wasn’t a member, just filed reports) and boy did I get an education on how rabid and fanatical unions are.

I worked with a CA public employee union for years (I wasn’t a member, just filed reports) and boy did I get an education on how rabid and fanatical unions are.

In post #31 of this thread, I admitted to being a onetime member of the NAACP. My other confession is that I was once a union member -- not by choice but because I was in a forced unionism state.

But I had the last laugh!

One of the more joyous events in my long lifetime was busting a long-entrenched union and then watching the featherbedding "workers", some of whom had worked at the facility for three decades, get fired. These lazy, unproductive lowlifes with their precious seniority no longer had the protection of the local union goons and were rightly dismissed. The company then became much more prosperous since the deadwood was eliminated along with the archaic workrules imposed by the union thugs. And we anti-union employees who remained after the long-overdue downsizing were amply rewarded in that prosperity.

Before my successful campaign to get the vile union decertified, the ridiculous work rules prevented me from working when both the boss and I wanted to. Union thuggery enforced a certain amount of downtime in spite of the fact that I was willing and able to work.

Once the union was busted, I started making money hand over fist since the stupid downtime rule was gone. My colleagues also benefited as well since we gained liberty. Moreover, no longer having to pay the blood money to a union mobster (union dues) meant a bigger paycheck for everyone.

Also gone was the antagonism of "us against them" that unions foster through their class-driven labor vs. management philosophy. In short, our company became more profitable when the union was kicked out and we employees all became happier (even those who had voted to keep the union).

Senator Byrd, that great klansman and democrat, had a name for people like you and me. He called us “white niggers”.
