"Duck Dynasty" dad Phil Robertson has been placed on indefinite suspension by the A&E Network following his recent comments on homosexuality, the network announced Wednesday night.
"We are extremely disappointed to have read Phil Robertson's comments in GQ, which are based on his own personal beliefs and are not reflected in the series Duck Dynasty," the network said in a statement.
"His personal views in no way reflect those of A&E Networks, who have always been strong supporters and champions of the LGBT community. The network has placed Phil under hiatus from filming indefinitely."
Earlier Wednesday, Roberston had responded to critics who had slammed him for very graphic statements he made about his preference for heterosexual sex over homosexual sex.
“I myself am a product of the 60s; I centered my life around sex, drugs and rock and roll until I hit rock bottom and accepted Jesus as my Savior,” he said in a statement sent to FOX411.
“My mission today is to go forth and tell people about why I follow Christ and also what the bible teaches, and part of that teaching is that women and men are meant to be together.

Then shame on Robertson for working for such a reprobate network.
It’s reality tv, it’s fake and staged to some degree. Who is to say what is real and what isn’t.
Notice that all of this fuss is because of a paraphrased quote from Corinthians - and of all the groups of sinners he listed, nobody stepped up to defend, or chastise him for “slandering”, any other. The adulterers, the swindlers, the greedy, the male prostitutes, the drunkards (of which I am certain there are a much higher number than there are gays) all let it roll off their backs, and nobody else even bothered to notice. But the gays, oh the gays, and the spineless network, all had to fall over themselves to vilify him for quoting the Holy Bible which is the single most influential and instructive work ever written, and the book on which our entire country was founded. Hypocrites, as usual.

Somehow Phil’s life will go on without A&E.
On the Fox News website he was saying how he knew his family life wouldn’t be private anymore, but it was worth it to get the gospel out there. And that he better push it as he knew he only had 3-5 years before they ended it. “It’s a T.V. show!”
He didn’t just rag on the gays, he talked about the problem not having Jesus causes. Like the Nazi’s & Japs in WWII, and Islam today.
He’s a hated species....an honest man. But as he says, This is television!
So much for free speech!
So now the queers are defining Christianity and defining how we believe?
