You're saying that their contract with the network could keep them from profiting from their own business. I highly doubt it.
The Robertsons would never have signed such a contract, and it's doubtful that any television network would have crafted such a thing.
We do not know...But it is a probability if it was snuck into that performance contract...Its not too hard to hide the devil in those details...
