How do you “suspend” the head of a family from a “reality” show about his family, filmed in their home and business? I guess they’re just going to have to keep filming with him around and try to edit out any time they catch him on camera.
If I were part of this family, I’d be having none of this. They probably can’t outright refuse to do the show without him, due to contractual obligations, but they certainly can make sure that they are doing boring stuff anytime the A&E cameras show up and Phil isn’t around.
If I were them, I’d have a life size cardboard standee of Phil in every single scene.

I have never seen the show, having cancelled cable. I heard an interview where one of the fellows was saying that A&E would add ‘bleeps’ so that it sounded like they were blocking curse words which were never actually spoken.
I could see other members of the family speaking out, so that their contract would get cancelled. I could then see a network like Trinity pick up a show featuring the Robertsons! The irony would be excellent!
You don't......
The title is nothing more than a ploy to draw traffic to the site. There is absolutely nothing in the article that says he was fired........this thread needs to be zotted!
Ironically, due to a “morals” clause in the contractual obligations the entire family may HAVE to continue to do the show, lest they suffer serious financial impacts and legal proceedings that may involve the network having control over the “Duck Dynasty” title, and other commercial marketing material, and keep the family from profitting on those goods and services due to those contractual agreements...
The devil is ALWAYS in the fine print...
I bet this does not turn out very well for the family...
All they have to do is say pretty much the same thing in interviews with magazines or Fox.
