The stars of "Duck Dynasty" might be America's most popular TV family, but that could change very soon — because Phil Robertson has made some strong (and seriously offensive) anti-gay remarks that have sparked instant backlash.
Speaking with GQ, Robertson lamented that when "everything is blurred on what's right and what's wrong ... sin becomes fine." So just what qualifies as sinful in his book?
"Start with homosexual behavior and just morph out from there — bestiality, sleeping around with this woman and that woman and that woman and those men," he declared.

Right - we’re supposed to expect the pro-homosexual marriage crowd to quit buying all the Duck Dynasty stuff they never bought in the first place?
The best thing about the DD folks is that although they don’t take themselves too seriously they do take what they believe in very seriously.
The second best thing about them is that they don’t give a flying flip what anybody else thinks about them.
Funny, but everytime I go to Wal-Mart I see another whole aisle devoted to Duck Dynasty merchandise. These guys have hit the big, big time. And it couldn’t happen to a better bunch. Preach on Brother Phil. You keep witnessing and we’ll keep watching.
As if the GLAAD community were big fans of Duck Dynasty. They certainly are not big fans of the First Amendment.

“Duck Dynasty” is dead. No one survives making demeaning remarks about gays. Ask Alec Baldwin.
I hope their ratings go up.

The thousands of comments that follow the article are decidedly in favor of Robertson and his right to free speech.

It’s vital that anyone who believes what he said rally to his defense. The Fab Fascists will try to destroy this guy now. We can’t let that happen.
Well, if the homos go down their usual path, ratings won’t matter and they’ll pressure the Network until they drop the show. It won’t matter if the viewers want to continue watching it.
Gotta love this guy! No wonder the show is so popular.
