Glad you’re back with us. You answered my later questions.
I trust that my sloped brow will protect me LOL.
Looks like a nice sight; that auto shut-off is a good feature. If you get it, pls give us a review.
If I weren’t 62 with all my kids here, I’d be out of CA. I wish I could con the kids to leave for their own good.
Will do, I’m leaning towards the Lucid tonight. That might change tomorrow. LOL
My old PK-A is great red dot, but it eats battery’s, does not have autoshut down.
Auto shut down is great feature
CA used to be a great place.
I enjoyed my time there until libtards encroached on my freedom.
Over the long term, most 2A rights in CA will be killed off. Given the political demographic trends, no other outcome is possible. The gun grabbers have picked up the pace lately and are allways shooting for the moon.
I'd been having mild pains through my chest and shoulders and then running down my arms for the last couple of months. They were very short episodes so I kept chalking it up to acid reflux.
The pain hit me in the chest, shoulders, and arms on Friday morning while I was at my desk. This time the pain didn't subside. It wasn't a sharp pain, kind of a broad pressure with a burning sensation. Still not realizing how severe the situation was, I drove from my office to the emergency room (about 10 miles).
By the time I got to the ER, I was having shortness of breath. When I walked in I told them I thought I was having a problem with my heart. Within about 60 seconds I had three cardiac doctors and a whole team of nurses and triage people working me over. They ran a quick EKG and one of them said “yep, that's a heart attack”. They were moving really fast. I'll bet no more than 5 minutes passed from the time I walked through the door to the time they had me on the table in the cath lab.
I'm 57 years old but I do consider myself to be in good physical condition. I'm very active, only have a BMI of 139, eat right, etc. Have never had any heart problems. The American Heart Association has a 7-point heart health questionnaire. I score in the “Excellent” field on 6 out of the 7. The one I fail is that I'm a smoker. I have never really had a desire to quit.
It was scary. They even had the chaplain there at my side. The funny thing about it, in a good way, was that even though I knew that I might be checking out I was more concerned about my family. I quietly asked that He take care of my family for me. Beyond that, I really wasn't afraid.
Uncle Sam sent me to Texas. God gave me the brains to stay here. More than 30 years now. I miss the old CA of my youth, but it is not the same place now.
I have several EoTechs on my Remy 870 & 1100 AutoLoader Police Tac 12ga shotguns, and one on my Class III AR-15 SBR/Suppressed/Select-Fire unit. Real nice, but pricey now. I bought mine in 2003-2006, and did PT work at the FFLs, so I got everything at a nice employee discount.
Thanks Dave.
I left when they shut the state down.
When I got there it was a great place. Full of free thinkers and ranchers..
When I left it was wall to wall condos and HOA’s.

Holy carp! I'm glad to see you still here and posting. Do you have any family history with heart disease?
You grew up in Ca?.
stints are great , I got Three ,I liked them so much!
Nice unit; I’d like to try that one someday on a day shoot.
Yessir. In the Gold Country. Celebrated jumping frog and all that.
You done good.
Always say you think it is a heart attack or stroke.
You go to the front of the line.
Seriously.
