The good ones are with the elect at all times, not just when we are gathered to worship. Since the renting of the veil during the crucifixion a person can pray at any time, not just in a temple. It wouldn't makes sense for a little girl to have to put a veil on to pray silently in school.
Also, demons or evil spirits are never referred to as angels in the New Testament.
Satan and his followers are often called "Satan and his angels". Revelation 16:14 is one place that calls these angels "demons".
I havent seen anywhere in scripture where individual worship or prayer is addressed as regarding dress. The dress code is only addressed when Christians assemble together for worship.
>>Satan and his followers are often called "Satan and his angels". Revelation 16:14 is one place that calls these angels "demons".<<
After they were cast down they were never referred to as angels again. They were referred to as demons. Even Satan is called the devil after being cast down and not longer referred to as an angel.
Two people are an assembly. Like I said, the veil was rent at the crucifixion, we don't need temples anymore. The bible does encourage fellowship though.
After they were cast down they were never referred to as angels again. They were referred to as demons. Even Satan is called the devil after being cast down and not longer referred to as an angel.
"Were" cast down? Hasn't happened yet. You say that angels are in churches but then say that evil angels aren't angels after they're cast down. So why the dichotomy?
The fallen angels were called angels while on the earth, I'm not getting your obsession with these semantics. Why is this important to you?
Oh he was indeed cast out of heaven after he rebelled.
Isaiah 14:12 How are you fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how are you cut down to the ground, who did weaken the nations!
He still has access but that is no longer his abode as it was.
One day the angels came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came with them. The LORD said to Satan, 'Where have you come from? Satan answered the LORD, From roaming through the earth and going back and forth in it" (Job 1:6-7).
He will be forever banned during the tribulation.
>>You say that angels are in churches but then say that evil angels aren't angels after they're cast down.<<
The angels in the assembly of believers are NOT those angels that were cast down. Those that were cut down with Satan are called demons.
>>The fallen angels were called angels while on the earth, I'm not getting your obsession with these semantics.<<
You would have to show the scripture that shows those who were cast down with Satan are referred to as angels.
Michael is holding Satan at the moment. At the sixth trump Satan and his angels will be cast down.
The angels in the assembly of believers are NOT those angels that were cast down. Those that were cut down with Satan are called demons.
Exactly. You say that the good angels are still called angels when they are on the earth, but then say that evil angels can be called angels in heaven but cannot be called angels while on the earth. Satan's angels are evil whether on earth or in heaven. So why the dichotomy?
You would have to show the scripture that shows those who were cast down with Satan are referred to as angels.
Again, they have not been cast down yet. Rev 12:9 His "angels" will be cast down with him. The fallen angels were angels while on earth, and Satan's angels will be angels on earth also.
I'm still not getting why these semantics mean so much to you.
I dont think we are relating at all. Not much sense continuing with this.
Nice. :^)
” guess trolling is allowable on the sabbath, eh?”
The only one trolling is you, Mr. 2013 sign up.
Way to go to benefit the “Christians kills Jews, but I’m not being rude” mentality.
Losers like you who make up insults that aren’t there have no place here.
Try Democrat Underground; it’s a good place for the perpetually offended, newbie.
“Losers like you who make up insults that arent there have no place here.”
So, what are the “difficulties” caused by the “Nazarene” for the “Jewish people”? I asked you point blank, and you didn’t answer before.
Maybe "long" is a relative thing. Acts 18:18 says that Paul cut his hair because "he had a vow" but it isn't clear that this was related to the Nazarite vow of Numbers 6:1-27.
Some pictures of Paul show him with long-ish hair. Maybe this is before he went to get his hair cut.
It’s kind of cute you think you are worthy of a response.
Tee hee! What a butthead. Just watch yourself in the future. Even little snide remarks won’t be ignored.
Wow, an internet tough guy. Never seen one of those before.
