My point is that no matter which scenario occurs Birthers manage somehow to shoe-horn it into their conspiracy theory(s):
*If Fuddy remains alive but doesn't talk, it's because she's either been intimidated or bribed into silence; "see! it's evidence of the conspiracy."
*When a crash occurs, and only she dies, it's "suspicious" and it's to intimidate the others; "see! it's evidence of conspiracy."
*Had all of the passenger perished, it would be "she and all possible witness have been silenced; see! it's evidence of conspiracy."
*Had one died along with Fuddy, it would be "one was sacrificed along with Fuddy to make it look like Fuddy wasn't the target; see! it's evidence of conspiracy."
*Had it been an accident with no others present, it would be "they arranged it so there would be no witnesses to talk; see! it's evidence of conspiracy."
Birthers have all contingencies covered. Except the non-conspiratorial options are never discussed even as possibilities.
Or perhaps the intent was to kill all and through whatever happenstance the rest survived?
For that "perhaps" to make any sense, one would have to explain cogently why these 9 (and not a whole host of others who presumably have been "in on it" for the past 5 years (or much, much longer)) were targeted. Failing that explanation, the better, simpler, more logical explanation is that it was an unfortunate accident.
There have been other fatalities. The guy who accessed The Won’s passport records died an untimely and violent death.
Other than that your analysis of the options pretty much covers it, and is equally valid whether there actually is or isn’t a conspiracy.
If through some miracle, the NTSB reports evidence of sabotage that would support the Nut-Job Conspiracy Theory. So would them finding no evidence whatsoever...
There is a reason they would want to intimidate through Fuddy’s death. There are still 3 people in Hawaii who they desperately need to keep quiet.
And this thing would take 2 actions: something to cause the engine to fail (and of course the federal agency in charge of investigating won’t retrieve the wreckage to find out if it was sabotaged...), and something to make Fuddy’s seatbelt “stick”. (Again, sabotage can’t be checked out because the federal agency will not retrieve the wreckage.
Those 2 things in place, to everybody there including the pilot it would seem like a “normal” crash. Having everybody else escape and Fuddy’s seatbelt not work - in full view of the deputy director who would have to carry on her deceit - would get the intended message across.
Means, motive, and opportunity are all there.
And before you say that this regime would never do that, you need to look at Fast & Furious, Benghazi, Extortion 17, IRS-gate, the Boston Marathon bombing and the “Saudi person of interest who got away”, etc. You need to read up and find out about Bill Gwatney being killed by a “random” shooting within days of saying he’d present a petition at the 2008 Dem Convention so Hillary could show her evidence of Obama’s ineligibility, and then Stephanie Tubbs keeling over from an aneurysm within days of agreeing to take Gwatney’s place...
There’s a lot you need to read up on, I suspect.
