Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Seymour Hersh has dropped yet another bombshell allegation: President Obama wasn't honest with the American people when he blamed Syrian President Bashar al-Assad for a sarin-gas attack in that killed hundreds of civilians...

Long article, but worth the read.
If you like your Sarin gas plan, you can keep it.
Putin was right, Bashir Assad had no motive for that sort of thing.
Nothing Obama says is true. Why am I not surprised?
It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for Obama to tell the truth.
I think this is possible, if not likely and it has been discussed.
I want to know why Seymour Hirsch is some sort of voice of authority.
Seymour Hersh is a nut but I’m waiting for the New Yorker to run the same hit piece from him as they did on Bush.
Seymour?? What put a Jew up *your* bonnet? Getting cold feet?
I couldn’t find one comment at that site pro Obama. Sometimes I have to wonder why we keep playing like he is _resident.
When a centipede walks through a field of lies, it’s bound to step in a few.
This isn’t really anything new. The only thing new about it is that it’s being picked up by Yahoo! And authored by someone who will not be suspected of being a conservative blogger.
Unfortunately, Hersh doesn’t seem to have picked up on the probable truth of the story that the dead kids were Christians and Alawites who were kidnapped and murdered by the Muslim terrorists who staged this hoax.
I bet all America finds it hard to believe that Obama lied...
just kidding. When is he NOT lying?
That's how they try to end the discussion. As in "climate change."
I doubt that the liberals can forgive Hersh for his excellent book on JFK, "The Dark Side of Camelot."
... the problem is to figure out when he is telling the truth.
I’m actually not that familiar with Hersh, other than that he’s been on the left side of the spectrum for his entire career. That’s what I found striking about the article - someone on the left taking Obama to task over Syria.
True. I think most of us here on FR were highly skeptical of the “proof” that Assad was behind the Sarin attacks. I just find it interesting that a left-wing writer is willing to lay out the case for Obama lying about it.
For some reason, America thought it prudent to elect a Muslim only a few years after 9/11.
We at the FR suspected that the Sarin gas attack was carried out by the rebels to draw the U.S. in the Syrian conflict. Zer0 has recklessly favored the al Qaeda-linked rebel opposition without regard to the consequences. If they were to topple the Assad regime, what kind of mischief would they cause with their hands on Syria’s weapons? There is grave danger if such weapons were handed over to Hezbollah in Lebanon. Then Israel’s security would be even more compromised.
