Iran is developing ICBMs so they can export their excess nuclear power to the US and other western nations. Nothing to see here, move along folks.

You know what, and I believe some of our Air Force bretheren shoudl chime in on this...

It is one thing to be able to develop an integrated system of delivering a nuclear warhead payload on top of a ICBM...

The only two countries that I believe have had some semblance of success has been US and the Russians...China made the attempt, but from what I have seen over the last 20-25 years, their ICBM program is second rate at best, not very reliable, extremely risky for failure if utilized...

Maybe you do not need to have the accuracy we have been able to develop since we started our program, and the Russains make up for acuracy with throw weight (megatonnage of the warhead’s)...

Iran is a baby, considering the potential capability in their development stage, at this point...

To me, and some folks I know have gamed this out, that someone like Iran would not necessarily park a warhead on top of those NK technology missiles and pull the trigger...There is no guarantee it would work...

Real quick...The reason I believe the Saudi’s have been working with the Israelis to perhaps allow Israel to land and refule their force in the event a strike is ordered on Iran, is very telling about the inside intelligence those countries have in backdoor communications...The confidence level of an Iranian missile failing and dropping that egg on Saudi Arabia or other nieghboring countries is extremely high...Therefore, the Saudi’s are hedging their bets on Israel being able to cripple the program...

Maybe not stop the Iranian nuclear weapons program, but at least knock it back a little bit and allow the dust to settle, and see if their attack garners some credible alliances with countries able to assist in the efforts to curb the Iranian nuclear weapons program...

Only then will we possibly see stability, and only after we see instability created by such a targeted conflict...

The Obama Administration has seen fit to create this instability, and pushed Israel to seriously plan, and eventually execute such a pre-emptive strike...

If the Iranian ICBM program is designed to reach globally, and they prove it can work with some degree of confidence...I believe it would take a successful launch and detonation of a nuclear weapon on Europe or even the USA to warrant a complete and utter annilation of what will be called the “former” country of Iran...

We would probably have to take a real bad bloddy nose before a response of that nature would be reluctantly warranted by the appeasers in our government now...

Just my opinion...

Why is Iran working on Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles?

Occam’s razor applies. The simplest answer is the right one.

The well where the mahdi is hiding is very deep. An ICBM is the only way they can get him out.

I figure they are building ICBMs so that they have a means to share their newly generated “energy” resources with Israel!

Because of their deep, abiding love and respect for humanity and cultures other than their own, of course!!!

"Why is Iran Developing ICBMs?"

Maybe because allowing Iran to do so will keep freight fuel and consumer oil prices lower for the time being.

North Korea Tests 'Super-EMP' Nuke

"North Korea’s nuclear tests have been dismissed as failures by some analysts because of their low explosive yield. But Dr. Pry believes they bore the “signature” of the Russian-designed “super-EMP” weapon, capable of emitting more gamma radiation than a 25-megaton nuclear weapon. "

Actually the logical strategic move is to target Europe.
Hegemony. That would be my move. I believe that is their intent, and the rest is just saber rattling. For now...
