Why is Iran working on Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles?
There is no possible peaceful purpose for ballistic missiles. Iran may claim that their nuclear program is peaceful, but they cannot possibly make that claim when it comes to ballistic missiles. The only reason to have ballistic missiles is to target enemies with high explosives and WMD.
Irans Shehab-3 Intermediate Range Ballistic Missiles have sufficient range to hit Israel, Saudi Arabia and US bases in Afghanistan, Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait and Turkey.
Why are the Iranians working with the North Koreans on multi-stage Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles (ICBMs)?
Who might the Iranians be targeting with such missiles?

The list is floating around in FR somewhere, I got to go track it down in a specific post...
If I can find it, I’ll throw it up on the local board as well...
Actually the logical strategic move is to target Europe.
Hegemony. That would be my move. I believe that is their intent, and the rest is just saber rattling. For now...
I believe it is perfectly reasonable to inquire as to why any nation might pursue the development of ICBMs, if not for the purpose of potentially using them.
By the way, it strikes me as being perfectly legitimate for any American to possess an assault rifle--not for mere "hunting" (which, clearly, is not its purpose; but for self-protection and/or protecting the owner's family)--whereas I can see no legitimate purpose in Iran's pursuing ICBMs...
Did he post it somewhere???
Basically, I boil that 197 down to three dozen.
I recall similar things being said of the country next door. We saw how that turned out.
The Iranian branch of Amazon will use them to deliver pistachio gift baskets.
The only thing is, Bush’s approval rating went through the roof after 9/11. It helped Bush, it didn’t hurt him.
Heh. I’ve made the same observation myself.
Gracias...I will enjoy seeing your take on this...
To get us to pay them not too.

Okay, Folks, heres a few observations:
We start with 197 relieved officers.
The 157 USAF majors were the result of a RIF (Reduction-in-Force); it was a personnel action that most likely had nothing to do with an ideological purge.
CAPT Litchfield, USS Essex, was relieved for cause for endangering his ship and the lives of his crew, when Essex collided with another vessel at sea.
RADM Gaouette had nothing to do with Benghazi. Gaouette wasnt even in theater when it happened, and the Stennis Battle Group was in the Pacific. The Gaouette relief is not connected.
GEN Ham also has questions regarding his relief from USAFRICOM. Theres been debunking there too; I just dont have the proper links to prove or disprove yet.
That reduces the total number of legitimate questionable actions to 37. But of those 37, we have the following:
Most of the reliefs were Navy, specifically in command positions, especially ships at sea. The ships involved were home-ported either 6th Fleet, or 7th Fleet - based coincidentally in FEMA Regions 3 and 9. The Marines that were relieved also followed this pattern as well.
Now, the purge of commanders in 2012 and in 2013 show a shift in focus. The 2012 reliefs were all unit commanders, either at ship/brigade level. The 2013 reliefs raised up to installation or major command levels.
This shift of focus could be the result of a purge (Its payback time, declared Night Stalker). Flag-rank officers, particularly among the missile command structure, being let go is significant of such a purge.

that’s sorta what i thought as well..
Ask yourself, why did we only test one of our two types of atomic bombs? Who tested “little boy”?
Iran wants to have the absolute capability to hit any country in the world with either nuclear, chemical or biological warheads. Period.
yeah, uh huh...
Why is Iran developing ICBMs?
To be able to deliver Korans direct to your door...
They are “peaceful” ICBMs...
Well, lets see... Israel is a couple of hundred miles away in range of the existing Skuds and missiles of that class that Iran already has fielded. However the United States is pushing 4500 miles range, one would need to develop Inter Continental Ballistic Missile systems to reach the United States.
So the answer is Obvious. Iran is working hard to Nuke the United States, not Israel.
Simple, just too complex for the Kerry’s and Pelosi’s of the world to figure out. Some people just cannot tie shoes. Or they are just evil. One or the other.
Hint. Do they wear slip on shoes?
