I don’t know much about Bevin, but I do know this. He is running against McConnell very differently than Lee Bright is running against Graham. Bevin is obsessed with McConnell per se, while Bright is running against the Obama Reid Schumer agenda, and Graham as an enabler of that agenda.

Those are quite different strategies, with very different messages, and I think for primaries, the Bright strategy is the right one. I’d like to see Bevin show the same disdain for Obama Reid Schumer that he shows for McConnell.

Two different races in two different environments. I don’t think Graham is as reviled in SC like McConnell seems to be in KY. So the differences in campaign strategies are probably justified by the nature of the race.
