In hundreds of media interviews, I’ve stated that even though Obama was my college classmate at Columbia University , Class of 1983, and we shared the same majors (Political Science and Pre-Law), I never saw, met, or heard of him. But the media has this story wrong too – I’ve never said that my conclusion is Obama did not go to Columbia . On the contrary, I believe Obama graduated Columbia and we are classmates.

Where was he hiding for those Columbia years? My educated guess is he was smoking pot and attending communist meetings, plotting the downfall of America and capitalism. Don’t laugh, it worked!

While that was just an educated guess, Obama’s own autobiography backs me up – he personally admitted often attending Socialist Party meetings at Cooper Union in downtown Manhattan . With Obama, even your wildest guesses are often proven true.

But forget why he wasn’t seen at Columbia , the real mystery is how he ever got into Columbia . Stay with me – because this ties into the whole “foreign born” story.

It’s pretty clear how Obama got into Columbia – I believe it was by lying. Obama was a smart kid, even then gave “great interviews,” and talked (lied) his way into Columbia as an Indonesian student, using his Jakarta grade school transcripts (and perhaps Passport/citizenship papers) as proof. Columbia probably asked very few questions. They were thrilled to have an Indonesian student to brag about. They got what they wanted – “diversity.”

Foreign students must have a J-1 visa to legally enter and reside in the U.S. Columbia would not have enrolled him without a visa. An Indonesian Passport and grade school transcripts from an an American run Catholic school located in Jakarta would not have been enough to enroll in Columbia.

Natural born citizenship status is not held in perpetuity (means it can be lost during a person's lifetime.) Obama forfeited his U.S. citizenship in 1967. An American run Catholic school located in Jakarta would not have enrolled him as Barry Soetoro, Indonesian national, born in Honolulu, HI if the information was not correct.

In 1971, Obama returned to Hawaii as an Indonesian national. The Soetoro adoption was annulled and a new birth certificate was created and filed by the HI HDOH for Barack Hussein Obama II, son of Barack Hussein Obama. His citizenship remained as an Indonesian national. In 1983, Obama naturalized as a U.S. citizen. Naturalized citizens are not eligible for the office of the U.S. presidency. But, this does not mean he cannot be elected and sworn in.

The Founding Fathers wrote the Constitution to protect the People from the U.S. Government through limitation. The Founding Fathers did not want the People to be limited in their choice of leadership. Consequently, an ineligible person, i.e. naturalized citizen, can be elected and sworn in as President. The qualifications listed in the Constitution is to establish criteria for an objection by those who wish to object to an ineligible President signing laws and regulations which have direct injury upon them. An individual who objects can obtain a waiver from laws and regulations signed by the ineligible President, but the laws and regulations become permanent after the ineligible President leaves office.

The De Facto Officer Doctrine indemnifies the U.S. Government from the actions of a usurper after he leaves office. While he is in office, an objection can be sustained in Federal court.

Since Sen. Obama has neither renounced his U.S. citizenship nor sworn an oath of allegiance to Kenya, his Kenyan citizenship automatically expired on Aug. 4, 1982.

Renouncement of citizenship is a request to terminate citizenship. Federal law gives any citizen who moves out of the country and establishes themselves as a citizen of another country or will obtain citizenship of another country the right to request a Certificate of Loss of Nationality.

Citizenship is not terminated until a CLN is issued. Only the President, through his Secretary of State, can issue a CLN. SCOTUS can offer an opinion on who should be issued a CLN and who should not be issued a CLN, but the final decision is up to the President alone. SCOTUS can only offer a nonbinding opinion. Congress passes bills establishing a uniform law of immigration and naturalization. Congress cannot issue CLNs or negate a CLN issued by the President.

Without a formal renouncement (request) by a citizen to forfeit their citizenship, the President can issue a CLN after the citizen has effectively renounced. An effective renouncement begins with a citizen notifying the State Department on their passport application they do not intend to return to the U.S. after a passport is issued.

A passport application ask the citizen where they are going, why are they going there and when are they returning to the U.S. These are not questions of idle curiosity. The State Department is establishing intent to maintain your U.S. citizenship. Telling the State Department you intend to live in Indonesia indefinitely, as Stanley Ann did, is the first step to informal renouncement of citizenship. Allowing your passport to exire, as Stanley Ann did, is the next step and all the SoS needs to issue a CLN.

So, when Obama says he didn't renounce his citizenship; he means his mother took the necessary steps to effectively renounce and SoS Dean Rusk issued him a CLN in 1967.

After a couple of unfortunate murders of other missionaries from both the time period and the vacinity, she asked that we not speak of it publicly as friends and family were still serving in the field and she went into hiding. Why would a missionary lie about his birth years before he declared he was a candidate? Why would supporting material disappear?

It was also Bill Ayers’ father, the Communist, who had his hand in the pot.

Agree. There's no way Obama made it in to Columbia without major pull. They don't take "C" students just because they're from foreign countries.

I don’t know how one would get hold of it, but I would think them obliged to provide a list with details,on individual sources, principals behind “group” donations and facilitators behind anonymous gifts.

It could make for interesting reading.

I posted that Factcheck statement which appeared on the fightthesmears website simply as a reminder that the father zero claims to have been his biological sire, was a Kenyan national; as Wayne Root seems to have forgotten when he writes that zero is 100% American.
That Factcheck contribution shows itself for what it’s worth with the description of Kenya as ‘part of the United Kingdom’s own dwindling empire’ - and goes downhill in credibility from there...

But as the kenyan student was an unlikely candicate for fatherhood and Stanley Ann probably never met him, it’s all moot imo. I’ve always stayed away from questions of his actual nationality, considering no one can be sure who his parents were, or when and where he was born.

It’s unfortunate so many easily dismiss Obama’s Catholic school record on Jan 1., 1968. The Catholic Church as been keeping accurate records for over 800 years.

It’s important to remember Obama attended a privately owned and operated Catholic school with its headquarters located in Connecticut. Hawaii’s birth records are amendable. Obama could file papers with a Hawaiian Court tomorrow and if the Judge was convinced, he/she could order a Obama’s current birth record sealed and new birth record issued with any information the Judge ordered to be put on the record.

Obama’s Catholic school record in not amendable. The Catholic Church has a long history of keeping accurate records. It’s reasonable to conclude Obama was an Indonesian National on Jan. 1, 1968.

Yes, so it would seem; however, from my POV if his pedigree, place and date of birth is unknowable the question remains:

WHO was an Indonesian National on Jan. 1, 1968? What was HIS name at birth? Who were his parents?

Obama's father and step-father were both Mooselimbs. There is no reason to believe little Barry was ever anything else until he adopted communism as he matured.
