TEHRAN – Iranian Government Spokesman Mohammad-Baqer Nobakht has confirmed news about releasing $8 billion of its blocked assets by the U.S. after Iran and the six major powers reached a deal on Iran’s nuclear program on Sunday.
The recent nuclear deal will have a great positive effect on the Iranian economy, IRNA quoted Nobakht as saying on Monday.
The former chairman of Iran's Chamber of Commerce, Industries, and Mines, Alinaqi Khamoushi, announced on Sunday that the U.S. has released $8 billion of Iran's frozen assets.
He said the nuclear agreement reached between Iran and the P5+1 group -- Britain, China, France, Russia and the U.S. plus Germany - in Geneva Sunday morning, was an opening up of Iran's economic relations with the world.
According to the deal, Tehran will offer some concessions in exchange for limited relief from the sanctions imposed on the country.

Remember, we aren’t dealing with Democrats anymore, but Radical Academic Socialist anti-semites.
This has been a huge diplomatic and strategic victory for Iran. Not only have they been granted over $5 billion dollars and huge loopholes through the remaining sanctions, they are now a signatory to an “international peace agreement”. Meanwhile the centrifuges keep spinning and Iran makes no pretense of giving up its nuclear ambitions. If Israel attacks, it faces international condemnation and reprisals. If it doesn’t attack, it must live with a bizarre, theocratic , nuclear armed dictatorship who’s leaders have made apocalyptic threats to destroy Israel and annihilate its people. Hopefully the Congress will hold hearings and let Kerry try to explain just how and why he committed the United States to this fantasy.
