Actually there is a lot of different scenarios here where I wouldn't want a dog put down because of a bite, I just didn't want to spend the time listing them all. I interpreted the whole point of your post is that it was pretty much black and white from your point of view.

It is black and white from the standpoint of my dog biting someone in an indefensible situation...like a pitbull attacking a 4 year old.

I just figured (this being a conservative site and all) that I could count on some common sense barriers being understood. My mistake.
