JON SCOTT: You were at the White House. You want to tell us about that?
JUAN WILLIAMS: What happened was the White House invited a small group of journalists over to talk with the president. I can't tell you what the president said, that is off the record. But I met with other senior officials at the White House and I can tell you they are in full fight mode over the Affordable Care Act right now. What you hear from these senior officials is, you know, they're concerned about what happened with insurance companies.
They wish the insurance companies hadn't sent out the cancellation notices and if they had, that they simply call them renewals. And, they feel right now, as if, you know, they had a major systems failure, major management failure and they're trying to get back on track. Their big concern right now is with people who had those cancellation notices and making sure those people feel they have been taken care of. They feel they have to turn that around, as the first step in trying to repair the damage that's been done to this president.
SCOTT: Is it fair to say they're also trying to change the messaging here.
WILLIAMS: Absolutely. I mean, you know there is frustration. I think that's clear from everybody who I was talking to this morning at the White House, is frustration.
<snip>
. They're frustrated with the way that this has been portrayed in the media because they say it has done some good. Bill Clinton couldn't even get a vote on proposed health care reform. 100 years people have been trying. This is hard work as one of them said.

Conservatives had better get in fight mode themselves or we will lose this battle as well.
I’d say the conservatives are in fight mode, per Washington’s advice of being “at all times ready for war”. It’s the RINOs playing double agent that are the problem.
These liars are NOT concerned about the American people. They only care about re-election and the damage it is doing to the Demoncrat party. If they cared about the American people - they wouldn’t have run roughshod over them implementing this debacle. Juan Williams and his ilk can go pound sand!
>>>I can’t tell you what the president said, that is off the record<<<
Which is you should have refused to attend. (Spit)
¿Qué demonios?
They’re blatant liars, with the entire democrat party complicit in these lies. How are they going to combat that Juan?
Boo hoo... does he need a band aid or something?
What about the Devestation, the tormentation, the despotism being layed upon the American Citizenry?
I would wager that Juan Williams is in daily contact with the WH if not with Obama himself.
Sounds like they’re frustrated that the truth about OCare got out too soon.
They’re blaming the insurance companies for not framing the damage in a positive way.
The Corrupt Regime is backed by the GOP
at the core. And they know it.
I'll give him credit for getting something out of the meeting: the comments above speak volumes:
1. As mentioned by others, the frustration is all about message and perception (how dare people not understand!)
2. They OBVIOUSLY don't understand ANYTHING about insurance or business practices. Exactly why the government - and these yahoos in particular - are in way over their heads... to our detriment.
I see communist propagandist and useful idiot MorJuan Williams is attempting to aid the POS tyrant wannabe in removing his name from his "signature" legislative enslavement. What a tool. MorJuan is dumber than a box of rocks.
“They feel they have to turn that around, as the first step in trying to repair the damage that’s been done to this president.” Yeah that’s important! The HELL with the ga-zillions of hard working folks that LOST their insurance, just so long as the obamatollah looks “presidental” Yeah MISSION IMPOSSIBLE!!
So they still see this as nothing more than a messaging problem.
Juan Williams is such a tool.
Juan. Define “full fight mode.”
Translation: they wish the insurance companies had behaved in a way to make people think it was the insurer's fault that their premiums had to go up thousands of dollars, rather than Obamacare's fault.
