I suppose living in a rural area, my 6+foot frame coupled with the Ruger .380 in my hand in my front pocket whenever I come across a group of “black youts”, and the attitude it creates in me, reduces the risk of this happening to me. But man, if I lived in a city in a non-CCW state, I’d really be concerned.
You need more gun. A 44 Ruger super redhawk springs to mind. Mine is gone due to an unfortunate canoeing accident. I am from KY also.
