Yes
t -57:00
So which is it? Put off one hour or gone?
What did I just say. Saw it lift off into space
from here in georgia just minutes ago.
Amazing purple pillar of fire!
Well....that’s a lie. It’s still on
the pad. Saw it on NASA-TV. Still go for launch at this time.
Being near the equator becomes more important the nearer to an equatorial orbit you desire. A good example is a geosynchronous orbit.

If that’s a lie, I’m President of the United States.
My gosh, the sound of the thing shook my house.
An eerie warbling kind of humm.
Spinning blue lights, purple flame, never saw anything
like it.
Rocket still on pad at T-1 hour. You can watch the launch here:

Now T-20 minutes.
Visible to the naked eye as a red fire ball from DC burbs.
I think I saw it in upper east Tenn. Very faint - too fast for an airplane.
Easily visible from Long Island, NY. Bright orange, red color.
Visible in Ashburn.
I guess everyone else knows where Ashburn is but me.
North Carolina
haha, oops, sorry! Virginia outer suburb of DC. There are some fb postings saying lots of sightings over Ashburn including the booster separation.
Same here in the Philly burbs - bright orange light easily visible with the naked eye.
I think that I saw it (from SW Connecticut) - bright orange dot, moving up and to the left (from the southwest towards the south), blinked out for a bit (second stage cutoff?) then back on, finally just disappeared.
I was trying to get it on ‘film’ (digital camera with a fisheye adapter lens, two and a half minute exposure), but did not manage to capture it.
> Tonight’s Minotaur rocket launch is will set a record when it puts 29 satellites into orbit.
Wow! Thanks don-o. Extra to APoD and X-Planets.
