George Zimmerman has been arrested and was en route to the Seminole County Jail, according to Sheriff Don Eslinger.
It's not clear what happened or what crime he's accused of committing, but just before 1:30 p.m., Eslinger confirmed that Zimmerman had been arrested today and was being driven to the county jail in Sanford.
He said more information would be available shortly.
WESH-Channel 2 reported that Zimmerman was accused of domestic violence by a girlfriend.
The Sheriff's Office, in a short news release, reported that the agency had arrested Zimmerman after being called to a disturbance on Topfield Court in western Seminole County near Apopka.

The SCSO just finished their presser. There were no guns found at the location, no injuries, no witnesses, and the girlfriend is NOT pregnant.
Nothing suspicious here at all...
No idea as he still is in legal trouble with this thing that went down today.
My guess is donations were just that, donations.
I wasn’t there but lots of women when they get really pissed are capable of making this stuff up.
It’s not that I think women in general are liars, it’s that the court system now acts like they cannot lie.
Unrelated to criminal charges, I know a guy who got involved w an unstable woman. She called his parents and told them he just called and said he is on his way over to shoot her. Causing his panicked parents to run to his house. She was often seen giggling just before she would run into a room and pretend to be upset.
This stuff happens.

I do too and he's my neighbor. The ex-girlfriend stalked him for over a year, vandalized his car several times, broke into his house and even harrassed him in church. Despite restraining order against her, she continued the harrassment. She even tried to run over a sheriff deputy who responded to my neighbor's call that she had broken into his house...........
Since she worked in the same plant as he did and having been stressed to the point of no return, he walked into work one day back in 1992 and killed her.......After being sentenced to life in prison, his appeals went to the state supreme court and they ordered a retrial, this time demanding the judge accept ALL the evidence against the wacked out woman, including the restraining order AND the attempted running over of the sheriff.
While still found guilty, he was only sentenced to 8 years in prison with credit for the 6 years already served.........

As I was reading along, I wondered about the possibility of George being “set up” by folks who have an agenda.
Probably not, but who knows these days! Just the fact that the possibility occurred to me is indicative of how faith in our institutions has been lost.
I also have the same thought that he is being set-up. Watched a few minutes of HLN for any updates, and they are saying he may be paranoid. DUH, what would give them that idea?!?!!! Of course he would be paranoid - that would be the SANE feeling.

That much you lifted from Zimmerman's brother's tweet. Robert Jr. also said "no pregnancy".
After listening to George Zimmermen's 911 call, we now know that there were several guns. Samantha owned one. Zimmerman had an AR15 and two shotguns. The police have not located them, since they are awaiting a search warrant, but suspect, according to the arrest report, that Zimmerman may have boxed them while Samantha was outside the house. Zimmerman also said that Samantha was pregnant.
He is a registered democrat.
That explains it. I never thought he was very bright.
Yep things have changed a lot since the first reports came out. He will have
to persuade the jury and it’s a crap shoot as to how that will come out.
