A new deadly “game” called “Knockout” is crossing the nation, especially among black teenagers, in which they try to punch a randomly-selected person walking by on the street so hard with one blow that knocks them unconscious—but the results have sometime proven fatal.
In the New York area in particular, there also seems to be an anti-Semitic motivation to some of the attacks. One black teen, asked why the players savagely attack their victims, simply said, “For the fun of it.” Another added, “They just want to see if you got enough strength to knock somebody out.”
The attacks, also called "Knock Out King" or "happy slapping," have occurred from Syracuse to New York City to New Jersey to St. Louis. The list of attacks is frightening, and that only includes the ones that have been made public. Examples include:

I saw video on Fox yesterday. A young woman was walking down a sidewalk in some city. A youth came up to her from behind and swung a huge roundhouse punch to the side of her head. She never saw it coming and went down to the concrete.
Not to mention the cost of ammo these days.....

Most of the knockout game is when they meet someone. In the case of your statement the cowards snuck up behind the strong man. They may have even been running when they did it.
No matter the best thing is to stay out of neighborhoods where these cowards prey on people. But if going there a pick axe handle used as a cane is a very helpful crutch.
Absolutely! The Hornady Zombie Max hollow points (good round with a dumb name IMHO) in the .45 were over a $1 a piece!
When it hits close to home, you start to think. I don't go anywhere without my 1911 or the 460 when in the woods, but in Alaska everybody does that. My nephew came up hunting last fall and was telling me that where he lives (outside D.C.), it's illegal to carry, unreal. He tells me that very few people have pistols on their belts due to the laws. I told him that I just couldn't call a place like that home.
Anyone who does this (regardless of race), and is not dealt swift justice by his intended victim, should be publicly hanged. Period.
The headline is misleading. The assaulting perps are always BLACK and the assaulted victims 99% of the time are caucasian. These thugs are feral racists. It is disgusting that the “authorities” and the “media” treat this outrageous criminal behavior with kid gloves.
Then they complain that normal people cross the street when they see them coming, lock their car doors, follow them around stores, get off elevators.
I just gave this advice to a female friend, and I’ll give it to anyone who is reading this.
Be very careful when you see a roving band of minority ‘youths.’ They act innocent until they decide to strike, then it’s a complete surprise. They are like predators, hunting the weak, the elderly, the naive innocent trusting people that most White women are.
If anyone doesn’t like what I said, I don’t care.

Unfortunately, concealed carry won't necessarily help defend against the "knockout" game. They target people who are alone, and often strike from behind - the purpose is to attack and knock the person out before they have a chance to respond (really, before they even see the punch coming). A concealed weapon can help if you see the attack coming, but the key defense is situational awareness .
Are you aware of ANYONE other that "black teens" EVER committing uprovoked assault in this manner and calling it a 'game'? I'm sure it must happen, somewhere ....

I just REFUSE to go near any city area ...anymore. So should everyone else.
