WASHINGTON - President Obama will allow insurance companies to continue offering individual health plans that do not meet the standards of the Affordable Care Act through next year, according to a Democratic source on Capitol Hill familiar with the plans.
The plan, which the president will announce Thursday morning, is intended to placate millions of consumers who have received cancellation notices from insurers in recent weeks. Obama had repeatedly promised that consumers would be able to keep plans that they liked.
The president was under intense pressure from Democrats on Capitol Hill to find a fix. House Democrats have increasingly threatened to support a Republican proposal due for a vote Friday. And Democratic senators have offered their own legislative fixes.

A few examples: These evil/greedy insurance companies. If you think they are evil and greedy, don't buy their product: Insurance policies
The evil/ greedy doctors. If you think they are evil/ greedy, don't go to them for treatment when you are sick.
Big oil i.e., evil/ greedy oil companies. If you think that they are evil/greedy, don't buy their products: Oil and gas.
I could go on and on what purpose would it serve? The Nation, particularly the young and "enlightened" have a terminal case of stupidity for which there is no known cure. The only hope is to inoculate the remainder of the population with knowledge so they can carry on after the disease has run its course in its hosts.

Why has Boehner not objected to this? WHy has Mitchell not objected to this. They don’t even speak out saying this is not a presidential power. I heard Boehner say they should repeal Obamacare today, but nothing about the ability of a President to amend or modify or waive a law duly passed by Congress.
Is there other Republican leadership I’m missing? Where’s McCain? Where’s Lindsey Graham?
Is anyone SCREAMING at the TV like me? What audacity this man has. I would like to try and take apart all of what he is saying...but it is so full of half-truths, outright lies, fake humility, fluff and stuff...that it is hard to tear it down. It is exasperating, infuriating and frustrating. The man is a master at double talk.
