I’m a Conservative and believe the WOD is absolute crap.
It’s led to more loss of freedom than anything else, even the WOT.
I’m not a Libertarian that believes in abortion and open borders.
And, yes, the militarization of the police is caused by the WOD.
Do I think the WOD has been mismanaged? Yes, on a epic scale.
Do I think we do not need it? No.
Too bad we cannot have a dual perspective and allow people to see what places would be like without drug enforcement. Maybe you should go to a rural meth town in the Appalachians or the south where meth is rampant. You know why you don’t because it was not allow to go unchecked. Drugs are evil and the work of Satan (and yes I believe that alcohol is a drug). Look how many people in our society use drugs/alcohol for an escape. Basically weak minded losers. If people could use without it affecting me or my family then I don’t care what you do, but alas that is not the case. DWI, tax money for rehabs, rising insurance costs for dependency treatment, injury crime related to drugs, property crime related to drugs, etc... It is costing me money for losers to smoke their dope, shoot their meth, and drink their vodka. It is costing my country as well in a workforce of idiots that cannot make a coherent sentence or get to work on time because the are high. Do I want these people fixing my food in restaurants, driving cars around me in traffic, dispensing medical procedures??? Drugs are a tool of Satan.
