This was embarrassing– Sarah Palin ate Matt Lauer’s lunch on “The Today Show” this morning. Lauer tried over and over to get Sarah Palin to apologize for the Tea Party and conservative principles but instead – she threw it back in his face.“
What apology?’’ Palin said. “He kind of acknowledged a bit that there’s a broken website. The broken website is the least of America’s worries. This broken website I think is symbolic of a broken administration. Take over one-sixth of our economy and the socialized medicine that’s being crammed down our throat, that’s what’s broken.
“Where do you get this five percent?’’ she said. “It’s not five percent. It’s most Americans will not be able to keep the healthcare policy and programs that they had desired. The new programs that are being forced down our throat are unaffordable. Some of them are still being told, ‘Well if you like that insurance policy and that coverage, you still will be able to keep it, it’s just going to cost you a little bit more.’ That’s the point. If it’s going to cost you more, then it’s not the same policy.”

Free markets and tort reform were all she could come up with? The most essential and crucial SOLUTIONS to a problem whose very EXISTENCE is about 90 percent because of those two things (government screwing up free markets and litigation making it so doctors can't afford to practice because of the insurance premiums they have to pay to protect themselves), and you call them "weak" and say that's all she "could come up with"?
Just wow.
As for using "about 4 talking points over and over," HELLO????????? Hello??? Dear, REPETITION WORKS. It is highly effective and proven. It is WHY advertisers do it. Palin -- indeed, any politician, including liberals, are WISE to stick to repeated talking points. The difference is that Liberals repeat LIES and ILLUSIONS in the hope that they will become perceived "truths." Palin and other true conservatives only communicate -- and repeat and repeat and repeat -- the truth in the hope that it will sink in.
You just don't like Palin.
Returning to free market solutions and tort reform would save America, nevermind just healthcare.
But please post your solution to reforming healthcare. We all want to know what Sarah should have said.
Of course that is true, agere, but Blackirish will ONLY perceive all the pro-Palini comments here as ONLY existing because "Palin is very popular on this forum." In other words, the only reason we're sticking up for Palin is because she's "very popular on this forum" -- Blackirish will stubbornly refuse to consider the possibility that the reason his/her posts are being challenged is because PALIN IS CORRECT. She's popular on this forum BECAUSE SHE ARTICULATES THE SOLUTIONS.
Blackirish doesn't like Palin, however, so he/she can only attribute being challenged here because she's "popular on this forum." That's my guess, anyway.

Yes, indeed. That is the first thing I thought as soon as I saw the pic. Contrast that pic with ANY military photo-op with slobama.
Sarah hit the bullseye blindfolded. I have such a girlcrush! Vaeh gets so excited when she sees a pic of Sarah or when she sees her on TV. It’s, “THERE IS SARAH PALIN!!!!” and she pays rapt attention.
Sarah is the perfect role model for little girls. Be yourself and be fearless. Be classy. Be a Lady. Don’t ever be afraid to stand up and tell it like it is. EXACTLY like it is.

That's how to get a twofer out of a soundbite, against both ZeroCare and the immigration bill.
Now, to REALLY eat his lunch, then you take that scenario to the next level. Once most everybody goes on to Medicaid, then FedGov can stipulate the services States must provide to get Federal funding, and what do you know but those will be services Democrats demand: mental health (because they don't go to church), AIDS treatment and abortions (ditto), transgender surgery and infertility treatment (Ibid), etc. Services Republicans demand will be curtailed. It's easy to do. Here's how:
The States will cry foul, but they will be sued into compliance in Federal court. At that point, the bureaucracy in Washington has taken over State government, and you have lost ALL representation at the State and local level. Federalism will then be totally dead.
This is what needs to be explained as to how ZeroCare was always meant to work. The longer they stall for time, the more effective it will be against the States. Just watch.
It helps Sarah that Matt liar is mouthing lies like the one that Obama “apologized” last week. He did not. All Sarah has to do is speak the truth.
