Obama Hates Black Politicians, Black Politicians Hate Obama
Frontpage Mag ^ | 11/07/13 | Daniel Greenfield

It’s an interesting dynamic. And apparently it goes both ways.

It’s not news that black politicians, particularly of the older sort, hate Obama. The Congressional Black Caucus nearly went all in for Hillary. Jesse Jackson talked about cutting off Obama’s nuts. No doubt much worse was said in private.

Some of this may be a personality clash between the old corrupt generation of black pols, the Charlie Rangel era, and the younger savvier Cory Bookers, like the one that played out in Newark. The Charlie Rangels think the Obamas and Bookers are too slick and too phony, that they don’t know how things really get done and that they’re little more than puppets of white bosses.

Laugh at me if you will, but I strongly believe to right conservative could very well flip a sizable part of the black vote.

Some of the most aggressive attacks on Obama have come from John Conyers.

I can see their point. The Obamas and Bookers talk about “the struggle” and other civil rights era things, but they’ve never lived in an America where there was a negro lunch counter or coloreds-only water fountains. They grew up in privilege, getting affirmative action quota preferences from birth and school lunch programs, etc. Obama/Booker/etc ride on the backs of civil rights pioneers who actually took risks to stand up for something. The Obama types never risked anything, but they talk as if they were fighting police dogs in Alabama with their bare hands.

But, that being said, blacks vote black and that’s the reality of things. Its a lesson the GOP needs to learn.

I agree. As someone who has taken it upon myself to reach out to the inner city people just to talk and listen, I can tell you that the sand is definitely shifting.

Sizable may be a stretch, but I agree there are many fiscally conservative middle class blacks who could vote for the right conservative...even 10 to 15 % swing would be a death blow to any democrat running...

Chris Christie probably got a large percent of the black vote in NJ...

He's not my style of "conservative" but he proves it could be done...

Conyers "We've had it".

Conyers was telling the truth that the republicans aren't the ones cutting medicaid, Obama did that.

And yet, NONE of these Democrat Plantation Overseers dare to step out into the public, out of fear of the backlash they helped to create.

Sorry if I find this rather ironic.

One of these days, a Herman Cain or Dr. Carson could very well slip past the leftist attack machine.

Mostly likely it will be someone we barely have heard of that succeeds at a state or lower office before moving to the national stage. Popman is also likely correct that middle class blacks will first act on a realization they are being purposely exploited.
