I'm Sorry, Too, Mr. President
The National Journal ^ | Thursday, November 7, 2013 | Ron Fournier

I'm sorry, too, Mr. President.

I'm sorry you couldn't finesse a single Republican vote for health insurance reform in 2010.

I'm sorry Republicans decided to re-litigate the law rather than help implement it, offering no serious alternative of their own for the nearly 50 million uninsured Americans.

I'm sorry you campaigned for reelection on the famous false promise: "If you like your health care plan, you'll be able to keep your health care plan. Period."

SNIP

I'm sorry that the Democratic Party's decades-old chase toward universal health care is now at risk because your law—your legacy, sir—is off to such a miserable start.

SNIP

You must lead by example (the NBC interview was full of excuses) and create a system of universal health care that is worthy of your promise.

I'm sorry Republicans decided to re-litigate the law rather than help implement it,

I'm sick and tired of this tired old meme.

Yeah, R's should give up their morals, honor and time-honored platform positions for smaller govt and fiscal responsibility (haha!) just for the chance to be the lapdog to the party and sycophants who don't gave a hang about this country and enjoy nothing in life so much as using said govt as a club against anyone that has the temerity to disagree with them.

I'm sorry you couldn't finesse a single Republican vote for health insurance reform in 2010.

I'm sorry that the President finessed every single Democrat vote for Health insurance reform in 2010. It'll be the death of this country and hopefully the Dem/Lib/Prog way of life and party.

Americans are finally waking up to what the Dem Party is all about and they got a whole year to have their noses rubbed in it before the election. Even if there's a delay, the mask has been torn off and everybody'll know that this evil empire is just waiting in the wings to jump them in the near future, destroying their way of life and the country for their children and grandchildren.

“I’m sorry, too, Mr. President.”

You were born sorry.

“I’m sorry you couldn’t finesse a single Republican vote for health insurance reform in 2010.”

What kind of leader are you, when you couldn’t even get fellow marxists like mccain or snowe to vote for your bill? mccain is fairly cheap too!

“I’m sorry Republicans decided to re-litigate the law rather than help implement it, offering no serious alternative of their own for the nearly 50 million uninsured Americans.”

Damned TEA Party terrorists!

“I’m sorry you campaigned for reelection on the famous false promise: “If you like your health care plan, you’ll be able to keep your health care plan. Period.”

You are sorry that your messiah turned out to be a lying, pos, cross dressing fagot that lies and then lies about the lies and then apologizes for lying about the lies that he never lied about!

SNIP

“I’m sorry that the Democratic Party’s decades-old chase toward universal health care is now at risk because your law—your legacy, sir—is off to such a miserable start.”

You are sorry alright ronnie... you are sorry that the rats didn’t pass single payer and outlaw opposition parties in the same bill.

SNIP

“You must lead by example (the NBC interview was full of excuses) and create a system of universal health care that is worthy of your promise.”

Forward to FULL STATE CONTROL COMRADE!

The author seems to see Barry’s lies as just a “glitch” in otherwise stellar leadership.

The Census Bureau data is misleading. The Census Bureau’s Current Population Survey (CPS) is a misleading measure of those who lack health insurance in America and an imprecise tool for analyzing the dimensions of the problem. Analysis of data from earlier Census Bureau and other government reports shows that roughly 7 million are illegal immigrants; roughly 9 million are persons on Medicaid; 3.5 million are persons already eligible for government health programs; and approximately 20 million have, or live, in families with incomes greater than twice the federal poverty level, or $41,300 for a family of four. -from Heritage Foundation

The republicans offered about 3 possible plans back in 2009 and 2010, BEFORE the ACA was voted into law (without ONE republican vote). Obama told them to shove it, he would not even LOOK at one of them back then. He was going to have HIS PLAN, HIS WAY, and it didn’t matter if the republicans plan would’ve really worked as Obama said HIS would, the real deal was taking over another 18% of the economy and placing it under the state (federal government).
