One morning when I was making breakfast before school, my second-grade daughter, fresh off her school’s diversity unit on homosexuality, decided it was time I had a lesson in gay rights. First, she said, you should never use the word “gay” in a negative way, as in “That’s so gay!” Very interesting, I said, plotting to push a little deeper into this intriguing topic. So what is “gay,” I asked? Gay is when two boys like each other, and lesbian is when two girls like each other, she explained. Did she know anyone who was gay or lesbian, I asked? “I’m pretty sure I’m a lesbian because all my friends are girls,” she declared. Did she know anyone else? “Well, Larry only plays with boys, so he must be gay.” Anyone else? Nope.
Now I happened to know that she was acquainted with at least two other gay people, so I reminded her about them. “How about me and your Dad?” I asked. She thought a minute, then shrugged her shoulders. “Oh, yeah.”
Of course, our girls (now ages 8 and 10), know we’re gay. We’ve certainly never hidden it from them, as if two guys out for a walk with a BabyBjörn and a MacLaren would be inconspicuous, even in the liberal cocoon of Upper West Side Manhattan. It’s just that while “gay” in school might be singled out for special consideration, at home we’re just our girls’ dads. No adjectives need apply.
Yet in the last month or so I’ve been wondering if our daughters’ blissful nonchalance about our sexuality was in danger of dissolving.

this is called recruitment.
That’s exactly why they are doing it. Star them off young thinking they are queer.
Yay for me! I read this article and I didn’t even puke.
But I found what I was looking for:
“If we aren’t married now, does that mean we even are a family?”
This and other remarks tell us what we know (and they know it too). They are not a family (never will be). They are not normal and they are indeed lying to themselvs and that poor child that lives with them.
I suspect that if you substitute "hunting" or "track" or "football" or whatever passion a boy has, the foregoing statement would ring true for roughly 97% or us.
We're obviously supposed to giggle here. But the fact is that these men are raising girls who have no understanding what a "dad" or a "mom" really is. That is not cute; it is evil.
I know people who call themselves gay— some who call themselves bi- I will Never attend a same sex ceremony— WHY celebrate fornication and sin? IF children 8 or ten yrs old play with each other—except sexual fantasy playing it seems normal unless it is obsessive. when my five yr old granddaughter talks about her mommie and daddy having sex— I don’t think she knows exactly what she’s talking about but I do think she has been allowed to watch too many stupid -soft porn video like her idiot daddy likes to watch.She is entirely too young for that kind of game playing.
Well, sure, if you want your daughters to become promiscuous little sluts who would have sex with strangers; male, female, animal...all before they get their driver’s licenses, why sure, have them come to your “gay” wedding.
It’s not like they will turn out to be all screwed up or anything.

I am sympathetic with those Christians who throw up their hands and say Just let this society go to Hell.
Unfortunately, there is nowhere else to live. We either keep fighting the culture war, or hasten the day when people like this start killing us.
Yes, about 1/4 inch under the surface, this “nice” gay guy is perfectly okay with the slaughter of Christians. Obama is. Sebelius is. Pelosi is.
The notion of “recruitment,” as in “They cannot reproduce, so they must recruit,” is nonsense.
The vast majority of the parents of homosexuals are heterosexuals. They produce homosexual children by being lousy parents.

Years ago my wife worked as a hairdresser with a couple of queer guys; they’d both been molested as kids. I agree that bad parenting is another source of the mental illness.

I was confused. Is it two women or two men? And it sounds like left wing drivel to say “me and Dad” if they are both female.
I hate it when the left changes the definition of words.
