Sean Trende @SeanTrende 48s Model is still projecting a Cuccinelli win, with 52% of the vote. Roughly where it has been all night (1/3)

I think what has happened is that many Democrats in Democrat strongholds are voting for KC because they have turned on Obama!!! What I am seeing is that KC has had strong turnout in dozens of Red counties and MacAuliffe is suffering from a drain of his own Democrat votes, Its still tight and MacAuliffe could win....but when you get past the 50% reporting and a trend has bee established...it usually does not change. The interesting thing is that Cucc is leading 49-43, and the Repub for Atty Gen is leading 54-45, but the black Republican EW Jackson is trailing for Lt Gov 48-51.
It looks like Virginia is done with black politicians. Period.

Depends on which precincts are in.

Hopefully, TEA Party just jumped a hug mountain. There is a strong difference between good and evil. I pray VA voters did what was right.

Conclusion....Obama is toast and unless the Democrat Party throws Obama under the bus, they will lose both the Senate and House, next November....no matter what MacAuliffe does this evening!!!Agreed. Especially with health insurance premiums rising much more in 'red' states than in 'blue'.

Just more than the demo. No run-off or anything like that.

I think single/divorced females view the Republican party as their ex-husbands party and seek to RETALIATE by voting Democrat!

And many times in close races, R counties hold back until they see the Dimwat counties show their hands. It becomes tit for tat.

Does he need 50.001 to win? Or just more than the demo?Just a plurality, i.e. more than McAuliffe. 47-46-7 = win.
