Sarah Palin may be once again dreaming of the White House and a run for the presidency in 2016.
After a long absence from the political arena, Palin appears to be strategically increasing her appearances and speeches while also taking solid aim at President Obama. This has led many political experts to conclude that she is aiming to enter the 2016 presidential race, or at least is trying to test the waters for a potential run.
The rumors kicked up a bit this week when a spokesman for the Rev. Billy Graham announced that Sarah Palin will be a guest for the reverends 95th birthday. Graham still carries great political sway, so much in fact that Mitt Romney carved out time to meet with Graham in the final days of the 2012 presidential race in the hopes of earning a public endorsement and assuring conservative voters.
Grahams birthday celebration is also drawing other big names in the conservative world, including real estate mogul Donald Trump.
Sarah Palin has also taken her political tour to Iowa, one of the most important states for Republican hopefuls. On November 9 Palin is slated to speak at the annual banquet for the Iowa Faith and Freedom Coalition, an important conservative and evangelical group.
After spending a long stretch away from the spotlight, Palin is also ramping up her political attacks on President Obama in what could be the groundwork for her 2016 platform.
In a Facebook post entitled Obamas Debt Default is on His Shoulders While We Shoulder His Impeachable Offenses, she placed the blame for the debt limit fight solely on Obamas shoulders.
Defaulting on our national debt is an impeachable offense, and any attempt by President Obama to unilaterally raise the debt limit without Congress is also an impeachable offense, Palin wrote.
If Sarah Palin is planning a 2016 presidential run, she will have even more ammunition to boost her resume in the coming weeks. On November 12, three days after her planned speech in Iowa, Palin will be released a book taking on the conservative-friendly topic of the War on Christmas.
Pain promises that in the book titled Good Tidings and Great Joy: Protecting the Heart of Christmas she will tell you how to fight back against those politically correct Scrooges who seem to hate not just a beautiful holiday, but an entire faith.
Sarah Palin is still a long way from an official 2016 presidential run, however, and likely wouldnt declare any intention to run for several months.
If the GOP primaries result in another Romney clone, I'm out, and odds are that it is exactly what the GOP will field in 2016. Just lookin' ahead realistically.
The party "brand" has to be overtly, loudly, aggresively, pro 2nd amendment, pro limited government, pro limited food stamps, pro skeptic global warming, pro independent local schools -- pro pruning government intrusion and restoring freedom and prosperity that would follow. Pro get the government out of our hair and return it at least to the states.
That party will win, and I don't think it's the Republican party if the weenie "leadership" and respect paid to such as Romney and Rove isn't out post haste, and that is not likely. :^\ I'm just saying we none of us should be surprised if in 2016, we're looking at a liberal GOP "choice," to vote against whatever nightmare the Democrat will be. Again.
I’ll get with her and ask her to call eak3 and apologize for not conforming her life to your wishes.
The Undefeated was released on July 15, 2011.
Sarah Palin announced she will not run for president in a letter to supporters Wednesday night Oct 05, 2011.
That is a pretty long “day.”
.
Cruz, Palin and Lee speak for me, most everyone else is just noise.
Then again, look at it this way. She aspires to represent Republican voters -- and the powers-that-be in the Republican hierarchy snub her, ala Rove and Romney. To them, she's a joke not to be taken seriously, doesn't really exist.
What in hell is she supposed to do?
I mean, really.
She made her announcement either the day before or after it was released on DVD. If you really want to be picky.
Will she run in Arizona?
I was up in Alaska for 10 days in Sept and didn’t find folks to be very excited about her at all.
Common opinion was she’s a Scottsdale girl now, we like Parnell. Folks in Wasilla: we never see her around anymore.
Maybe I was talking to the wrong people but I heard a lot of negative comments about her leaving her job and then leaving the state.
She was right about so many things and this made her dangerous - of course this is why they worked so hard to trash her.
One would think that after this current debacle that millions would be begging Sarah to run and fix the mess.
Same here.
Did the same thing last Presidential election. She won’t run.
NO. Just no.
First. She would make a good President but like Hillary in 2008 she just waited too long. She chickened out, her moment in history came in 2012 and she chose to stay on the sidelines.
Secondly, she is personally responsible for giving us 4 more years of Obama. She was the clear choice for conservatives, and she kept flirting with the nomination, doing tours and basically running an unannounced Presidential campaign. This robbed other conservative candidates of media oxygen and allowed Romney to dominate a weak and divided field. Romney gave us Obama. Thanks alot Sarah.
Thirdly her midterm resignation from governorship is inexcusable. She can’t handle Alaska, she will not be able to handle the US.
Lastly, liberals have a point about her being not the sharpest tool in the shed. Her heart is in the right place, she clearly loves America, but she does not have the intellectual heft of someone like Ted Cruz. She cannot go toe to toe with liberal journalists, Cruz can.
She should curb her ambitions and run for Senate in Alaska, I would send her money.
This country is so “gimmie liberal” now days that it would take a miracle for a real conservative to win the Presidency.
That’s how the SLUT’s will portray her (Socialist Liberals United Together)
You live in a legalized marijuana state, I assume?
+1
Don’t fall for the “flirt and quit” routine that she used to hurt conservatives in 2012. If she wants to run, then she needs to commit early and campaign like she wants to win. Going halfway through the primary season with a smile and “I’m thinking about it” is not going to fly this time.
Or will it? Are her fans so easily fooled twice?
“Fans?” There’s the problem, right there.
Let’s start destroying all potential conservative candidates now so the liberals won’t have to spend their time and money doing it. /s
I love Palin, but I gotta go Cruz this time.
she was forced to withdraw by threats we do not know ,and forced to keep silent that we do not know
