a delay of the individual mandate may be the only way to salvage the disaster and save face.

If the Republicans were an opposition party they would love this. Push back and maybe we could get rid of this monster. Alas the Republicans are NOT an opposition party and are more concerned to save the presidential butt than to save the nation or the economy. That's why DELAY is a Republican desire that mainline Democrats are signing on to. If delay is allowed and more delay and some tweaking the effects of this thing might be softened enough that a smooth transition to single payer can be made which is what the Democrats and their Republican wing actually want.

Why would you want the GOP politicians to take center stage when the Dems are hanging themselves in the court of public opinion? Do NOT get the GOP involved right now.

Citizen anecdotes are FAR more effective...especially when a lot of those screaming and losing insurance were Obama supporters. Let them have the stage. The Dems would LOVE for Boehner to become the news story instead of all their complaining constituents. Don't fall for that bait.
