And yes, any Federal or semi-federal entity (such as the P.O.) obviously has such horrible management patterns that people simply snap. Personally, I think it’s because a lot of the people employed in these services get in through various preferences and, through the same preferences, rise to management, which they are completely unqualified to handle.
Because there’s no real competition, they never feel pushed to become qualified in any way. Some of them are fine, but too many of them aren’t, so it’s the luck of the draw and the odds are against you if you’re an employee.
That said, there are many people who can’t distinguish between their private lives and their work lives and don’t do the simple thing - find another job.
