I’m enjoying these stories about Rush’s book. I find them uplifting. Watching on the dittocam, Rush beams with pride much like a parent watching their child perform.
I went HSA a few years ago. Love it, although Obamacare didn’t leave HSAs alone either. My top contribution limit is affected during this year’s enrollment for next year.
Didn’t Noot Gingrich’s wife write a book about a time traveling elephant?
I like it as well.
I am encouraged that there is a new nation of kids that love liberty.
At some point, assholes like Obama become the establishment.
An establishment that sucks all of the wonder and excitement out of life.
Rock on Rush!
One didn’t run fast enough; he’s dead.
This kid is a keeper. Speaks better off the cuff that Emperor Obie...
I know she wrote some children’s books.
Bummer.
It will be interesting to get the back story on this.
She was on Dennis Miller’s show the other day. He tried to have a conversation with her, but she went immediately into pitch mode. He tried to reel her in, but since she was in script reading mode, he let her continue, then said, “Well, ok. Thanks for the conversation, “ and ended the call...politely, but abruptly.
He then went on to talk about Rush’s book.
I bought the kindle version of the book. I can see this idea becoming a series of books and even animated videos. Lots of potential here. Rush hit a homerun.
Sewing needle caller, if I were stitching up my own wounds, I think pain and infection would be a bigger concern than a scar. With MRSA, flesh-eating bacteria and stuff like that out there, I don’t think sewing up your own wounds is a good idea unless one is in a survival situation and has no other option.
I’ve heard this idea about people frivolously going to the doctor and what a problem it is on this show(and others) before. I don’t like it. Some people may be bored, lonely, want attention, etc. but I don’t think it’s the huge problem they do.
Some of us have chronic illnesses. Some of us are following doctors instructions. For example I had skiin cancer surgery in April and they’re having me go in for a follow-up this month. It probably isn’t necessary, but they told me to. Am I supposed to be like sewing-needle woman, and second-guess them. Sewing needle woman would have probably performed her own skin cancer surgery, since she’s also smart enough to diagnose it. Then there’s the preventative stuff. Since I turned 50, they e been on my case to get a colonoscopy. Those in my age group know what I’m talking about. So far I haven’t, because I don’t want the damn thing, not because I’m worried about what people like sewing needle woman will say about me.
When I broke my shoulder in 2010, I opted not to have surgery, even though they were pushing it. It turned out that my instincts were right, a d I healed without it. Frankly, my biggest concern was the period of helplessness, not being able to bathe, dress, etc. Cost was also a consideration, too, of course.
BTW, I lived in one of the bluest cities in the country for 20 years and NEVER once had a bookseller pass judgement on my reading choices. Nor a librarian. Always polite, no matter what they may have really thought. (And some if these Indy stores, judging by who they have in to read, causes they support, etc. are obviously very left wing. I think Elliott Bay has joined the mayors idiotic group of businesses who won’t honor the concealed carry laws in WA and see no problem in advertising it. Don’t get me started on that). I’m not saying it doesn’t happen. I just have never experienced it.
What this 13-year-old girl (Anastasia) is describing is the bathroom bill that already passed here in The People's Socialist Republik of Connecticut. It is beyond disgusting.
The bill works this way: If, on any given day, you "feel" like a female (even though you are a male, or vice versa) you can use the women's bathroom, and apparently locker rooms (ie in a YMCA or other health club). BY LAW no one can refuse you the use of the women's / girl's bathrooms or locker rooms.
Nice, huh?
I repeat: This bill PASSED here in The People's Socialist Republik of Connecticut a couple of years ago. And yes, CT citizens and church groups in CT fought this bill like mad before it passed. Socialism and Marxism prevail here in CT.
I agree!
ABC news is now reporting “What made him do it? That is what AUTHORITIES WANT TO KNOW”
BS
Motive is not in play this early into an investigation.
Political people are trying to put the spin on this early.
Can we pin it on a Tea Partyer?
I can smell it.
Liberty is a Horse of course.
Callista looks like a horse but that is another matter.
We did as well, although I admit it was tough to get used to at first.
So far I'm still not sure how ObamaCare will affect our HSA. Our current coverage ends 12/31/13. Not sure yet what 2014 will bring...
Think she’s ignoring the obvious?
