As I recall, Sarah Palin (and a few others) have been saying essentially the same thing. (No, I don’t have links and do not intend to spend the time finding them.)

The difference is that Cruz used slightly stronger wording. He is also the highest profile person currently in office with the guts to state the truth.

You can bet the farm the same people who destroyed Sarah Palin will attempt to do the same thing to him. That includes the leadership of the Republican Party (may they rot in He!!).

In my opinion, Cruz has become the leader of the resistance. He is thus our last faint hope for saving our once great country.

I wish conservatives would stop buying into that leftist meme. It's just not true.

The left shot everything they had at Sarah Palin and hardly put a scratch on her. She's just as viable and influential in the political arena as she ever was.

If she announced that she intended to run for the Presidency in 2016, support for her candidacy would erupt like an earthquake across the nation.
