She has a business on QVC or one of those shopping channels. She might get it because of that.

Hay, truth be told, I got really, really drunk...
and Bendy picked me up--
After he spent the entire night telling me about the evils of Obamacare... I saw the light--
And best of all, Bendy left a little bit of himself.. . with me!
Hey, just doing... my job

I do recall her being critical of Pres Reagan and Bush43 at times. But as celebs go, she was far from the worst of them.

I’ve lived in Canada. The ONLY people that want a nationalized Healthcare system are those that have never lived under one.

Suzanne Somers has always been a liberal-leaning blonde bombshell No, I don't think so. She's been a guest on Hannity and other Fox programs throughout the years, and although she seems reluctant to come right out with it, I 've always been under the impression that she leans right.

Yes, I agree - Republican
To: Impala64ssa
I read years ago that Somers is extremely smart. Don’t have any idea about her politics, but she is correct on socialized medicine.
The dizzy blonde was always just an act.t

I’ve had contact with her years ago when she visited my place of employment for a while. The woman was no ditz. She may be now, but not then. She was very articulate, insightful, and perfectly capable of intellectual analysis of complex topics.

Im pretty shocked by her ability to see this. I would never credit her with that much thought.Just like Lisa Kudrow, they get paid tons more $$ playing dumb-- when they are actually very intelligent. Had you fooled.

Agree...then. Not now. I also thought “Bailey” was always cuter than Loni on WKRP, too.

Actually, Suzanne Somers had a rough start with a bad homelife and an alcoholic father. She was homeless and I believe had a child when she ended up on the TV night show of the time, to read her poetry. She wrote an inspirational book about growing up in an alcoholic family, but only after her father died...it was an agreement. Her book, I think it was called KEEPING SECRETS is intelligently and passionately written and an inspiration for those brought up in debilitating alcoholic homes to develop their talents and persevere.
Not that long ago, she got cancer and went the self-healing path. She wrote a book that's quite disdainful of the medical profession and supports natural healing.
She's just the opposite of a spoiled, ditzy, handed everything in life stereotype Hollywood star. She's been an inspiration to many people over the decades.

Reading the replies to the blog, I’m astounded at the number of negative responses along with the level of support for the ACA. I wouldn’t have thought that likely in the usual WSJ readership.

I saw her on Hannity recently. She said I don’t know if I should say this because it might reveal my political affiliation but we watch your show all the time.
Seemed pretty clear she was Republican to me. Not sure though if she’s moderate or Tea Party.

I have little doubt that there are hundreds if not thousands of people who are paid just to post comments online. The WSJ would be a prime target for wannabe Pravda types.

She writes several books on alternative medicine ... Good business for these days.
Whether the alternative medicine works or not, I predict an increase in customers, simply because it is not Obamacare.

I always thought she leaned to the conservative side.
She has made a ton of money over the years from her business ventures, so she must have something on the ball.
