Bill Maher admitted at the outset that the Obamacare rollout has been a big [snip]-up for liberals, and while he didnt want to be stuck in an uncritical liberal bubble, he also couldnt help but recall a time when President Bush screwed up on a colossal level and apologized for nothing. Michael Moore, Al Sharpton, and Valerie Plame all joined Maher in still making clear the GOPs at fault here.
Sharpton argued, The objective was not to have a good website, the objective was to provide health care. He also found it odd that the GOPs trying to fix a site for services they dont want to render, while Moore said for young people, of all the things to [snip] up to that generation, the internet Obama looks like their parent.
Maher argued the GOP is still at fault here for Republican-led states attempting to fight the state exchanges instead of embracing them, because if they did, the [snip] thing would work better. Moore found it hilarious a Canadian internet company that got fired by the Canadian government, so in other words, the U.S. hired reject Canadians who have their own health care.
And on the idea of a website not working, Sharpton pointed out, The whole government didnt work for 16 days because of them!
They could cull out conservatives and in a few generations, have the Utopia they always wanted, populated entirely by adoring liberal fans.
They are taking that idea right out of the Nazi playbook
What, no mention of increased Premiums, Co-Pays and Deductibles?
The Website is the first hole in the hull of the SS Obama.
Liberals are F-ups.
This roll-out may turn out to be in the same league with Pearl Harbor.
That would put the liberals in the position of the parsimonious farmer and his mule. Deciding to get the maximum work for the least cost out of his mule, he cut back on the feed but had the mule work the same amount. Seeing no difference in work, he kept cutting back the feed. When the mule up and died, he protested that just as he got the animal down to no feed at all, something like this happens.
Liberals have the same blinders, in spite of numerous historical examples of what happens when the productive are made slaves to the indigent, they think that utopia is a totally egalitarian society imposed by government. Has never worked, won't work now and will never work in the future is no reason to them not to try it here.
I bet they haven’t even heard who got the contract out of cronyism. If a Republican president had done it, they would already be screaming for his head.
Truly, watching this show would be like getting stuck in Dante’s 9th circle of hell.
I was in Hurricane Katrina near the main destruction in Biloxi. President Bush didn’t “screw-up” anything, it was a natural disaster, a huge storm. Is Mr. Bush Zeus? What was he supposed to do? The government and charities got there about as quickly as they could. We had Salvation Army, Red Cross, Baptist Mission and National Guard help on the second day. Anyone who doesn’t have at least one day’s worth of supplies in their residence is a ****-up anyhow.
Ditto, NW FL. I saw the Grand Casino barges on the wrong side of Hwy 90 in front yards. Also saw a LOT of construction workers hard at work getting the city back in business. DIDN’T see a Biloxi mayor or MS governor on TV blaming Bush or anyone else. It was a long year waiting for Beau Rivage to reopen.
Treasure Bay was the one I’ll miss, though I don’t live there any more. Decent buffet, great slots, okay music, good mid-level restaurant & brew-pub with a giant shrimp & crawfish nacho plate for $6 and really good gourmet place. They made a casino out of their old hotel, but it’s not the same, at all. President was slated to close, anyhow. Had some good alligator in the snackbar and decent slots. Try the crème brûlée at the Beau’s buffet. Mmmmmm.
Thanks Tailgunner Joe.
