Healing is all done now outside of some occasional itching. I’m not quite back to normal workloads, but heavy lifting has never been my forte.
It’s getting really cold here - into the 20s tonight and we had sleet Wednesday night. I’m hoping it’s a bit warmer next Friday as the night after Halloween I’m taking Mikey to the Milton Corn Maze http://www.cooperfamilyfarms.net/ . I haven’t seen him since the surgery and missed his birthday, so I’m praying for a clear manageable night next Friday. We went to the Maze together in 2009 and had a ball and it’s one of the few things he seems to remember.
I harvested and canned the last of the peppers today and am now in full packing and clutter clean up mode. I do hope to get a few more days in the yard before full-blown winter sets in. Curb appeal means a lot.
Glad the healing is pretty done.
Does sound like winter is just about there. We’ve not had a single flake of snow. They say maybe on Halloween.
That corn maze sounds like a fun place for you and Mike to visit. Sending a prayer for a clear manageable night next Friday.
Take it easy as you labor.
