They are referring to lawful elections.
Ann Coulter was right about one thing last week. She said Democrats do not lose close elections.
Anyone who dreams that McAuliffe will lose a close election would believe something as ridiculous as BO Care collapsing and republicans, having sat by, shutting up, as they advised Sen Cruz to do, coming out as champions in such a scenario, winning all elections in the future and saving the day with their wimpy selves.
A complete and utter fantasy based on dreams that moderation wins against these democrats.
It is a dream.
Cucinelli had an example of how it is done, as did everyone in the country.
Woe to those who ignore the call that moderation in this climate has not been winning at least ever since Reagan proved the case.
This will be a close race, closer than any of the polls are indicating. The key here is turnout, and I’m not convinced that McAuliffe is going to get enough of the young, hip crowd out to vote as Obama did in 2012.
You are not using your brain God gave you. Money talks BS walks. When the gov shutdown for 12 days, furlough fed workers do not spend money because they were not paid. Also gov agencies order local services and goods thru gov credit cards. Meetings cancelled, travel cancelled local hotels and travel agencies take hit. Gov shutdown is over, fed workers are getting their back pay, but the vendors have not been paid yet and during shutdown the vendors also suffered losses in business. Most of these vendors remember the losses and hold the GOP responsible. It has an effect on the N VA voters and the shutdown will cost the GOP the gov race. Shutdown came at the wrong time. Unfortunately the VA race could not be held six months later after shutdown, Obamacare could change the race dynamics.
VA is going purple since N VA turned into a suburb of fed workers. They will not vote for the GOP who would unemploy them.
Personally, I'm trying to adjust my expectations to the fact that democrats have advantages in American "elections" that are becoming impossible to overcome.
Where elections aren't themselves corrupt the voters motives increasingly are.
We'll need another strategy if we are to maintain our constitutional republic.
