Dear Patriot,
Tea Party hero Ken Cuccinelli is now statistically tied in his race to be Virginia's governor.
Ken has closed the gap, but money is pouring into his liberal opponent's campaign, and the leftists are carpet bombing Virginia's voters with anti-conservative attack ads!
Please make an urgent contribution of $25, $30, $50, $100, $250, or more to help elect Ken Cuccinelli.
This is the very most important race in the nation this year. And Ken Cuccinelli was the very first state attorney general to file suit against Obamacare.
That's why BAMPAC is going "all in" for Ken.
You see, Barack Obama wants to defeat Ken Cuccinelli really, really badly. So he is backing former DNC chairman Terry McAuliffe very heavily against this Tea Party hero.
Obama wants revenge on Cuccinelli because he led the legal movement to overturn Obamacare.
I remember hearing Lonegan in Jersey was closing in...
Can anyone tell me what poll(s) these folks are referring to? Or is this just another plea for cash?
they need money because I saw five democrat attack ads this morning in one hour and no Cuch ads.
The Rasmussen poll was likely a reflection of post shutdown Virginia sentiment. There may be an Obamacare website bump in the opposite direction now.
Go with the RCP average:

Cuccinelli down by 10 points. Whether or not he’s closing that gap is left to be seen.
They are referring to lawful elections.
Ann Coulter was right about one thing last week. She said Democrats do not lose close elections.
Anyone who dreams that McAuliffe will lose a close election would believe something as ridiculous as BO Care collapsing and republicans, having sat by, shutting up, as they advised Sen Cruz to do, coming out as champions in such a scenario, winning all elections in the future and saving the day with their wimpy selves.
A complete and utter fantasy based on dreams that moderation wins against these democrats.
It is a dream.
Cucinelli had an example of how it is done, as did everyone in the country.
Woe to those who ignore the call that moderation in this climate has not been winning at least ever since Reagan proved the case.
Marsha Coakley was up 10+ points over Scott Brown in MA too...look how that election turned out!!...(granted it went to shit AFTER the election, but it was at least heartening to see the libs in MA vote for a ‘Republican’)
This will be a close race, closer than any of the polls are indicating. The key here is turnout, and I’m not convinced that McAuliffe is going to get enough of the young, hip crowd out to vote as Obama did in 2012.
Quinnipiac:
Tmac +7, as it has been for over 8 weeks.
Believe me, the Rasmussen poll scared the hell out of me yesterday but it ain’t over till it’s over. Bloomberg is sticking his nose in this race, the 2A can be motivated. Surprisingly we have an opportunity with men, I hate to say it but forget the women at this point. Any woman that believes this BC and “war on women” bull shit is not going to change their minds in the next 2 weeks.
Please contribute to our guy, please help us out in the last 2 weeks. Don’t let them have Virginia!
I suspect the Rasmussen poll was cooked to make it seem that Ken was too far away in order to dry up his money.
Is former DNC chairman Terry McAuliffe a Red Ink Democrat politician?
If so, then we just gotta keep him out of the District of Corruption !
Any FReeper who has some Red Ink Facts on Terry McA please post them on this thread !
BTW, if Obama wants Terry McA to win, then Terry must be rotten to the core, AND scared of losing to a candidate who represents those of us that are TAXED ENOUGH ALREADY !
If the first domino, (Terry McA), falls to defeat, then we have the blueprint for Conservative’s Victories in 2014.
I’m already VERY disappointed in my once great home state for helping elect 0bama(twice...).
If they elect McAwful to be governor, I may become physically ill. When he moved ahead in the polls, I just couldn’t believe it, though I can’t say I was really surprised. Us Virginians need to get a serious campaign going to donate Northern VA to Maryland. Would make everyone happier. That, or maybe us folks in SW VA can form our own state, or join up and become part of Tennessee or perhaps North Carolina.
The problem with all of the polls is that no one knows who is going to turn out for this off-year, gubernatorial election. Pollsters are using likely voter models that include the presidential elections in 2008 and 2012. To me, a better likely voter model would be who voted in the 2009 gubernatorial election?
My suspicion is that a lot of the Northern Virginia, young, hip, Obama voters are not going to show up for this election. This is going to be all about turnout.
You are not using your brain God gave you. Money talks BS walks. When the gov shutdown for 12 days, furlough fed workers do not spend money because they were not paid. Also gov agencies order local services and goods thru gov credit cards. Meetings cancelled, travel cancelled local hotels and travel agencies take hit. Gov shutdown is over, fed workers are getting their back pay, but the vendors have not been paid yet and during shutdown the vendors also suffered losses in business. Most of these vendors remember the losses and hold the GOP responsible. It has an effect on the N VA voters and the shutdown will cost the GOP the gov race. Shutdown came at the wrong time. Unfortunately the VA race could not be held six months later after shutdown, Obamacare could change the race dynamics.
VA is going purple since N VA turned into a suburb of fed workers. They will not vote for the GOP who would unemploy them.
Sigh.
Moderation just does not work.
That includes pretending democrats don’t cheat.
Close race. Forget it.
Name one that any of these squishy republicans have ever won.
Personally, I'm trying to adjust my expectations to the fact that democrats have advantages in American "elections" that are becoming impossible to overcome.
Where elections aren't themselves corrupt the voters motives increasingly are.
We'll need another strategy if we are to maintain our constitutional republic.
Keep in mind Scott is no longer there...
Bottom line, get out and vote for Cuccinelli, regardless of what polls say.
You are most welcome to provide a credible scenario, or even a case, in which the republicans, since Reagan, have not been blamed.
And then show us how this situation is not worsening.
Anyone who thinks the republicans are not going to get blamed for everything is not paying attention.
The republicans, and many conservative pundits, point to how wrong it is to not be moderate, that not sitting down and shutting up brings attention and blame.
There is no way the republicans are not going to be blamed for this.
George Bush, prominent member of THE most connected family in American politics is just now, into the second term of BO’s presidency, not being blamed for everything.
Dream on
For Democrats, it no longer matters if their voters turn out or not, they will cast their votes for them.
Where is the RNC??
